What, exactly, is socialism? Again this discussion seems necessary.

If there were any principled conservatives on this forum, they would condemn all this.

what is "this". And why would they condemn it? You have to learn to get what is in your mind on paper and not to use pictures like a tiny child.

Why shouldn’t the government manage the agricultural system?

well it always did screw it up and still does as per recent housing crisis and bailout, but private banking with 7000 currencies seems far worse than one govt printing press

7,000? Wow that's a lot. So I know of dollars. That's one. What were the other 6,999 currencies you're talking about?

Capitalism requires choice. Marxism requires government force. Sorry you don't understand the difference.

That would be a case of dishonesty. There is a huge distance between "less state" and "no state". Your willingness to make such leaps in logic and lapses in reliable assessment never cease to entertain me.

Have ever heard the expression "dictatorship of the proletariat"?
Probably yes. If yes, then what does it mean? Hint: "proletariat" means "working class".

You seem to know very little in the end about monetary policy. Anyone could open a bank and print their own individual paper money different from all others; 6999 did. Now do you understand?

Why is it a problem for someone to issue a promissory note redeemable in money to the bearer on demand?

I've heard that expression before, yes.
I don't know what it means. I don't know how such a dictatorship would be implemented. Would the proletariat be the state? Some portion of the proletariat? It all seems very vague.

No. They could not print money. They could only print promissory notes. You know, free market contracts. You support the free market, no?

Printing paper money is part of banking. Private banks would issue bank notes that circulated as money, typically redeemable for gold or silver. Now, we have a large public bank (the Federal Reserve) that has been granted a monopoly over bank notes (issuing Federal Reserve Notes, aka the U.S. dollar).

Here's your problem. When the government gets involved in something you think should be left to the private sphere, you call it socialism. When the government does something you think it should be doing, you decide it isn't socialism. You say the reason is because it is not a major industry, and then essentially define major industry as anything the government is not already involved in. Your reasoning is totally circular.
