The graph shows manufacturing jobs began a downward slump beginning in 1980 that continued to 2010. In 2010, the economy began recovering from the "Great Recession" and maintained a steady rise to 2019. The trend was well established in 2010-2017 during the Obama administration. The Trump administration has continued the upward trend in manufacturing 2017-2019.

You mean the deficit being up, which buys all this stuff, is a good thing?

So let me get this right. Leftists are rejoicing over a slowing in job growth in a sector that they claimed was declining and never coming back?

Tariffs will raise the cost of some products

So in the short term results can be negative

But china plays a long game and so should we

Hey Obama...looks like the current President does have a magic wand! hahahhhahahahha

So glad the American people rejected the "new normal" high unemployment Obama and his party settled for. Glad we are making America GREAT AGAIN!!

The export of BMW's manufactured in South Carolina destined for China have declined 21.1% since Dirty Donald initiated his tariff wars with China. They were our largest exporter of vehicles prior to the tariff wars.

The dems took back the house. The manufacturing sector is afraid Trump will lose and they know if he does they will.

I don't get it. They cherry pick some data then feed on it like little fish on chum. Then when you call them on it they say your bad for pointing out the lie. I can't see where the fun is in that.

One should also note that the lower 48 is coming off historical flooding in the Mississippi River basin over 300 barges stranded in Oklahoma alone plus damage to some locks. Pretending the tariffs are the cause of slight down turns in housing and mfging rather than severe flooding is insipid

It seems that Trump supporters actually have real jobs manufacturing real stuff.
Trump supporters aren't afraid of breaking a sweat and getting dirt under their fingernails.

Now over on the Left Coast in the Silicon Valley, Democratic voters don't break a sweat except at the gym and don't manufacture jack **** and wear beanies to work not hardhats.

Or just deny the bad economic news outright. Big Baby has them engaging in full-blown doublethink.
