What if climate change is no hoax?

People on the Climate Change bandwagon of rapid action forget as a species we depend on our invention and technology to survive and have since we lived in caves flaking the first spear points that could be replaced, learn to grow crops and raise animals instead of hunting and foraging, tamed wolves into the dog and advanced to where we can now are nearing the ability to genetically modify our species and implanting technology in our bodies. We use it to adapt. We use it to fight the horrors of the natural world. We use it to compensate.

We will just have to adapt to climate change using the tool nature gave us our incredible intellect and we are a hard species to kill off,

Now there will be winners and losers, the advanced and most organized nations will do better than poor ones, in the end our species will live on short of a major disaster like a black hole entering the solar system and eating our planet even then ark ships could save some of us.

 

The current period of global warming began in the mid 1800’s at the end of the LIA and ~100 years before CO2 emissions began to significantly increase. There is nothing remarkable about the current warming as compared to the previous 9 warming periods of our current ~ 20,000 year interglacial Holocene period.

 

Exactly. As a global society we will have no problem adapting to a temperature increase of 0.03 degrees Centigrade per year.

In fact, the increased CO2 and accelerated hydrological cycle will have large net benefits. All we have to do is stop trying to stop it, and start planning to take advantage of it.

 

Exactly. Global warming and increasing CO2 are beneficial.

In my opinion the calls for a Carbon Tax was
a terrible idea that would just put people under more bureaucracy but......
the threat of rising oceans is quite real and thank G-d that the Israelis have developed
the technology to desalinate ocean water on a massive scale......
