I started a poll asking people if they have a sense of finality in the 2020 election. Meaning that if Trump wins or loses the 2020 United States presidential election it's the end of everything they believe the United States is or should be. Very few chose to actually vote but admitted that they have sense of finality or just said they are 100% confident that their candidate will not lose.

So I decided a better exercise would be to shift gears slightly and ask a hypothetical question: What would happen if your candidate won or lost? This question is non-partisan and I won't judge you for your answers.

Since people feel strongly about this, I recognize some questions will be harder to answer than others.

So there are 4 questions each with 3 sub questions.

What would happen if Trump won the 2020 election? How would you respond? How would Trump himself respond? How would his base supporters respond?

What would happen if Trump lost the 2020 election? How would you respond? How would Trump himself respond? How would his base supporters respond?

What would happen if the Democrat won the 2020 election? How would you respond? How would the Democratic candidate himself/herself respond? How would his/her base supporters respond?

What would happen if the Democrat lost the 2020 election? How would you respond? How would the Democratic candidate himself/herself respond? How would his/her base supporters respond?

Here are the questions many here do not like to entertain: Will there be violence in the streets regardless of the result? Will Trump or the Democrat refuse to accept the result? Will you personally do something drastic like leave the country?

You may also give your answers to what kind of policies we will see implemented conditional upon the result of who wins.

A boring but reassuring answer would be: The Republic will continue regardless of the results.

I have opened up the big question to all answers and I am curious; what say you?

Is that conditional to a result or will it happen in either case?

If Trump loses, I'll carry on like a rational human being, same as I did when Obama won- both times.

I don't expect anything like that out of the left if Trump wins however. I expect nothing but more, and yet more, of the same childish, screeching insanity.

If Trump wins I would expect an exponential uptick in volatility from the MSM & Antifa type radicals - be they organized or not. Becoming more unhinged than they already are might not seem possible, however, we should be prepared for it. Nearly the diametric would likely be true if Trump looses as half the country plods through their disappointment, alarm & sorrow as the Nation they love is eroded from within.

If he loses he won't go quietly. If he wins the Democrats will make one more try for impeachment then start a coup.
