For me, I think it's the economy closely followed by law and order. That's what really affect people in their everyday lives.

Tough call. Although I think all of those issues are important, and need to be tackled, the issue I'm looking for in a Presidential candidate is immigration. If they are weak on immigration, they'll be weak on most other things.

Just about everything you listed is important because Biden and the Democrats have failed on just about every issue. I checked the economy first, but immigration and law and order are very close behind. We are setting ourselves up with a long term problem with a poor, low skilled underclass who are coming here with idea that the government will keep them.

We already have a large number of poor and homeless people who are getting shoved aside for the illegals. We are sitting on a powder keg that could have been lessened.

Economy is always #1, no matter how well or bad the economy happens to be at any given time.

The culture war, which GOP obsesses with, is as made-up as it can be and its absurd they pretend its the top issue in US.

Law & Order is doing ok as it is. It was a massive spike in 2020, but LE spending has been increased and things are normalizing.

I have libertarian view on immigration,- as long we we have a labor shortage, immigrants are needed

Abortion bans will do exactly that.

If one goes by the polls, the most important issue in deciding who to vote for in 2024, inflation/prices lead the list at 18%., jobs and the economy at 12%. Why these aren’t combined into just the economy, I don’t know, but if they were the economy would come in at 30% way above all other issues. Healthcare at 12% is second, all other issues in single digits. Question 5

Myself, I really don’t have a number one issue or most important one. Although I’m disgusted at the prospect of another Trump vs. Biden rematch. Like most Americans, that is something I don’t want. But since has either major party listened to what most Americans want or wish for or in this case don’t want? Go to questions 21 and 22 and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

It’s not issues with me. It’s how I perceive the candidates. Whether or not I think they’ll do a good job at whatever office they’re running for. Political party is irrelevant. In 2016 both major party candidates digusted me, like most Americans at that time I didn’t want neither one to become the next president. I voted against both by casting my ballot for a third party candidate. In 2020, I wanted Trump gone, Biden was an acceptable alternative, supposedly a moderate Democrat, I voted for him. Truth be told, my vote was more against Trump than for Biden. Atilla the Hun would have done. 2024, I dislike both now that Biden has been president for almost 3 years. 2024 if it is Biden vs. Trump, a case in which I don’t want neither one, another vote against both.

    Stopping MAGA.

None of the other stuff matters if that doesn't happen.

I think the most important thing, by a narrow margin, is law and order. Then, that's followed closely by the economy. With laws being unenforced more and more in the United States, and with order within our society breaking down, the economy and everything that makes the country work is endangered.

We need to lock criminals up and KEEP them locked up. We need to institutionalize mentally ill people and KEEP them institutionalized until it is conclusively proven that they aren't dangerously unstable any longer, however long that takes.

I feel that immigration policies are going to have a big long-term lasting effect on the economy.

In my opinion, besides from that, there's only limited things the government can do (or realistically is going to do) to impact the economy.

And I don't want to hear the naive tired arguments "Well, the government could do this...", because they're not going to do that!
Meaningless argument to say we should not worry about A because B could theoretically be done to solve A, when we all know B is never going to actually happen.
(I'm not even saying you should give up on trying to implement solution B, but just don't rely on that as the entire solution to the problem)

As a #2 priority, I think civil liberties and rights in the arena of legal justice should be seen as more of an issue by the public.

There's been a worrying trend of people being prosecuted and imprisoned based on very stretched and questionable interpretations of laws. (i.e. they did not clearly violate some law or do something that was obviously completely wrong)
And the prosecutors and judges are never held to account for their misconduct.

Most important issue to keep any and all GOP out of WH. The choice was not there.

This is a GOP push poll.

Well, you're not an American, right? I can't say I'm up on the issues in whatever country you're having your election in. Good luck though.

    No.

Magadonians are wrong about everything. If MTG says something i agree with, i immediately change my point of view.

I do not treat Magadonians like people with legitimate points of view. They are not worth of debating.

Yet you can't state with what you disagree with them. What exactly makes someone MAGA how can I tell one from just a Republican?

If they would vote for Trump, they are a Magadonian. I don't care what anyone believes if they would ever cast a vote for Trump under any circumstance.

I voted Other. Age is a huge factor in the 2024 election. Biden more than Trump is showing age related issues. Physical and cognitive.
