What jobs can you do if you don't like working in a team or together with anyone? In our highly extroverted society, it is easy to list many jobs that are heavy on team work and/or some social aspect. But are there jobs that don't require teamwork and you are supposed to do them alone? This is sooo interesting. Give a few ideas.

When I'm writing on something particularly if its political I like to be alone. I don't think more minds are always better than one and sometimes I think that too much collaboration can lead to a lack of critical thinking and concentration on an individual level.

Some construction jobs can be done alone - roofing, finish carpentry, electrical, plumbing, sometimes even framing. Web developers often work alone. Many forestry jobs are solo jobs. Truckers usually work alone.

There are a few for you to start with.

I design and build the tools that are used in punch presses.

When I work with a team, I find it very difficult to concentrate.

    This is where I work:

Self employment. Work-at-home jobs - trades such as plumbing, electrician, auto repair, etc
