What life is like for Paul Manafort in jail

    In the federal system, there is no mugshot nor perp walk. If he's found guilty and sent to prison for the amount of time prosecutors hope, the 69-year-old man may never be seen outside again.

    Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, Virginia, has him now—his name's listed among upwards of 500 people they're holding.

    His housing unit listed on the jail's website: "VIP." He was the only inmate at the jail with that housing unit description as of Saturday.

    But until his trial, Manafort's days will fall into a forced routine, as described on a private website that chronicles the nation's jails. Wake up early, roll call, breakfast. Participate in school or a work program. Lunch, roll call, work. Evenings in your cell or in a common pod with a TV. Repeat.

    Just breaking the ground for those to come.... but even in a regional jail, he somehow manages to get identified as VIP.

    I hope he can get the Mike Vick suite.....

    How long before Bob Muellers office gets an important phone call??? "Bob, we need to talk..."

    Nice that the Witch Hunt found a judge who will imprison a non-violent offender with no conviction...of anything.

    More proof that The Grand Buffoon is NOT "INVESTIGATING" RUSSSIAN COLLUSION, or ANYTHING ELSE to do with the 2016 election.

    This is nothing but a jackbooted attempt to pressure Manafort to come up with SOMETHING/ANYTHING, to "get" the President on.

    Outrageous.

    You guys are completely unable to sap my enjoyment of this.. maybe on the 4th or 5th incarceration it'll lose its thrill (but maybe not).

    Repeating again for context... Trump campaign chairman behind bars within 20 months of election ..

    We are watching a coup d'etat taking place before our very eyes. The deep state has played the Manafort card to perfection. A 70 year old man with no prior criminal record has been sentenced to an indeterminate time in a local jail where he will be one of a few White inmates.......with all that means. His only ticket to breath fresh air again is to compose a statement about Trump and 'Russian collusion'........a statement I'm quite sure Mueller and Weismann have already prepared. There only concern is keeping the black inmates from killing him first. Thus, he has been identified as a 'VIP' inmate and is likely in solitary confinement......which, of course, means he will crack faster and sign whatever Mueller puts before him.

    However I feel he won't be one of a few White HOUSE inmates... But, if you fish in the sewer, sometimes you catch a turd.

    But to your point, I'm sure Manafort is in the safest place for him now.... his danger most likely comes not from black inmates but from Russian Operatives...

    Why does this give you so much enjoyment? That seems sick to me. Mueller is acting as a terrorist....putting and threatening innocent families to financial ruin in the hopes something might turn up or be composed.....how can anyone find enjoyment of that?

    Which witnesses did he try to influence? What are their names? Was there a hearing to determine the veracity of all this?.......or did a liberal Jewish prosecutor just walk into the courtroom of a liberal Jewish judge appointed by Obama and say it was true. And she immediately sentenced a 70 year old man with no criminal record to a relative death sentence.......rhetorical question.

    There's a Florida Congresswoman who pulled the same stunts Trump did with her charity and is doing time in Coleman Federal.

    No one cares. Maybe Trump will give her a pardon and a job in his Admin.

    He was indicted by a grand jury on these new charges. And I don’t know the religion of anyone involved...
    It’s only a death sentence if he’s convicted.

    Ask your favorite statistics major what are the chances of folks who represent 2% of the population being both the judge and prosecutor in probably the most important political hearing in the last 50 years.......
