Huh? The Bible is a really long book. How is the rest just fluff? You said follow the bible. So, just a few words is all you have to follow? Weird? And, if all you need to accept Jesus, how do you know which ones are fake? Pretty sketchy don't you think?

 

The rest of the Bible is essentially little historical stories and each has a lesson for the Christian to learn, that is why we read it.

Baptism, like other actions, is a sign of your life within the church and acknowledgement of what God did for us. People worship their life In the church with many variations but only through the acceptance of Christ can you become a Christian.

You should be baptized if possible but it's not required.

It is up to the thousands of assorted Gods to prove that they exist. So far, not one of them has ever done anything godly since it was created by the con man that dreamed it up. We know that the Jesus character was not a God because no one has ever been able to do what he said a person can do if the person believed in him. Even people in the Bible said that God was BS.

There are simply many instances attributed to divine inspiration. Hell, Muhammad (PBUH) could neither read, nor write. So the Scribe had to put to paper what Prophet said, with the Holy Spirit guiding the hand. That is not to mention the entire Hierarchy of Angelic entities (Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominions, Virtues, Powers, Principalities, Archangels, and your garden variety of Angel). And we have not started on the negative side of the Supernatural entities.

As I have said before, once you buy into one of the Abrahamic Religions, the understanding of mystical creature, magic powers, alchemy, and the power behind certain symbols and words explodes.
