Insitutional Sketch

The World Jewish Congress (WJC) was established in 1936 under the leadership of Stephen S. Wise and Nahum Goldmann. Instrumental in its founding were the American Jewish Congress (AJC), established in 1918, and the Comité des Délégations Juives (Committee of Jewish Delegations), which was founded in 1919. The Comité des Délégations Juives was an ad hoc committee initiated by the Zionist Organization and established for the sole purpose of representing Jewish interests on behalf of all Jewish communities worldwide at the Paris Peace Conference following World War I. The Comité was also interested in the foundation of a permanent “worldwide Jewish organization which would be recognized by Jews and non-Jews alike as the Jewish representative body for the problems of the Diaspora.” [1]


The first preparatory meeting for the World Jewish Congress, called the First Preparatory World Jewish Conference, took place in Geneva in August 1932. After two more preparatory conferences, in 1933 and 1934, the First Plenary Assembly formally established the World Jewish Congress in August 1936. The purpose of the new organization was to unify Jews and strengthen Jewish political influence in order to assure the survival of the Jewish people. The creation of a Jewish state was part of that goal.

A prophet is someone who has received prophethood directly from God. Just like Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad.

Today there are no more prophets.

 

There are many who falsely claim that honor. If God gives you divine knowledge of the future, you have received prophethood (is that a word?). Does making the claim that you have been given that knowledge when it's obvious that you weren't make you a false or pretend prophet?

 

Real prophets are well known. There are religious history books that mention them. Torah, Bible, Quran, whatever. Fun fact: all of them were circumcised or had a very short foreskin by birth.

Anyone who claims he's a prophet today is a liar.

 

Just because someone called someone a prophet doesn’t make it real. No one has magic powers to see the future, those are not history books.

 

So, you are saying that you can be a Christian but not accepted into the Kingdom of God? I'll go back to the Bible to respond, John 3:5, " Except a man be born of water and of the spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." I would rather be baptized by one who has authority to do so than be called a Christian. That Biblical New Testament scripture is 100% definitive that baptism is required to be accepted into the Kingdom of God.

I don't know if that makes them false prophets. But it sure renders their judgment and stations or religious callings questionable. Myself, I pay no attention to TV ministers, ever. If I want to read the Bible, I'll read it.

 

So, who rounded up who first? Were Jews rounding up Germans and gassing them, shooting them and so on? Did Jews kill 6 million German citizens just working and minding their own business? Were Germans ever attacked and chased from the land of their inheritance only to wander in the wilderness for centuries? Was there an insurrection against Germans brutally killing Germans? I think as millions of Jews were murdered by the millions over centuries that some might be fearful, hateful and defensive, don't you? They may write stupid angry things. We see that today with Trump haters. But, Jews never held any political or military power in Germany or Russia where millions of more Jews were slaughtered by Stalin. No, Hitler had a choice. And, he chose hatred, bigotry, racism and other forms of Satanic worship against many different people he could use to gain power by demonizing them.

 

Anyone who writes such nonsense today is a liar. Well, maybe not a liar but completely ignorant of what a prophet is in the first place. Prophets are messengers who bring God's words, laws, commandments, covenants to the worldly. Those who accept these are usually tied to the prophet's genealogies. Either they were of Joseph or Judah. Eventually, the prophets spoke to the gentiles as well as prophets and apostles (who are prophets too). Therefore, there is nothing about the need for a man or woman to have been written in a book to have been a prophet or prophetess.

Anyone today who says we don't need a prophet simply is making that decision to silence God. Those people have little faith in God that he still loves us and wants to communicate with us. Yet, there is no justification except greed, pride and power to have over the hearts and minds of man to say God cannot communicate with his children on earth anymore. Who are you to say this? Where is your proof? To know if a man or woman has prophesied, see if their prophecy comes true. Then judge if it was prophecy or simply logical and reasonable. By the way, prophets don't have to prophecy of future events to be a prophet. Amos 3:7, "Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he reveateth his secrets unto his servants the prophets." You are no prophet so why are you telling others they are not prophets? How do you know?

 

Empirical scientific evidence isn't the law of God by which he will reveal himself to you. It's through faith, hope and charity (the pure love of Christ) in which you will find the evidence. James 3:5-8, " If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in FAITH, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways."

I never questioned that particular verse until I decided to do in depth study of the Bible to become a better Christian. i figured a deacon in a hell fire and brimstone church should be better versed in the Word than I was. The more I studied, the more I realized that particular verse, among so many others was crap. .

 

Since there is no such thing as a 'prophet' then the issue of 'false prophet' is moot.

 

Jesus Christ, if he existed, was clearly a Jew.

Not sure what "accepting Jesus" actually means. Am I wrong in thinking it means accepting supernatural claims with no actual evidence of these claims? It is all fake as far as I am concerned without proof to substantiate claims.

 

One would think a real God would provide scripture directly to the masses of humanity instead of via self proclaimed intermediaries.

 

I think Christian Leaders walk a very fine line when they declare prophecy. Hal Lindsay predicted that Jesus would return I believe in 1990. He should step down into obscurity. I know a lot of Christian leaders and not a one declared any such thing. I will say, however, I believe Trump won in a landslide. Do you believe Biden gathered more votes, was more popular, than Barrack Hussein Obama? Even after the fact Trump gained among minority voters?
