It would be a Non-Fiction story another non-fiction story I work with one black new hire "Calvin" and when we got on the service hoist to be lowered I told him to check it out and to look down. At a thousand feet all you could see at the bottom of the drop was an orange light the size of a golf ball. By the time we park at the bottom I swear to God he was holding the sleeve of my jacket and scared to death! Just happen that day we were shoveling belt lines and in this mine it was never dust and always friggin boulders that had to be man handles and thrown on a moving belt, this guy made it one day LMAO..

I think the best and funniest thing they would do to new hires was trip the over travel on the hoist on the way down and the drive motor would immediately lock tight and the weight of the cage would stretch the cable like a rubber band and scare the Bejesus out of the new guys, friggin hilarious

The purpose of their protest is not the flag or anthem. It’s a combination of mostly TDS and the stupid blm bullcrap. But that is the method of the protest.

Most of America did not have that system of discrimination

Blacks were about 10-12% of the population nationwide while whites were well over 75%

So the decision to end segregation was a white decison not a black decision

In 1954, the Brown ruling had only a minority support among whites.

Nonetheless, by the 1960s a majority of northern and western and a few southern whites supported the black CR campaign.

The non-violent campaign led by MLK Jr forced American whites to face themselves in the morality mirror.

Enough of them did the right thing in Congress to pass CR and Voting acts.

You, once again, show you minimal knowledge of the CR campaign. You are talking about enforcing the Central High School integration in Little Rock, Arkansas. In 1958, the governor closed the school for a year, with all other public high schools in the state.

All of this happened 5 to 7 years before Democratic President Johnson with the majority of Democrats in the House and Senate coercing the majority of Republicans to join them in passing the CR and Voting acts.
