Good information to have. However the tread topic is: "
"What should a woman do with the unprovable sexual harassment", not rape.

Record it. They literally have apps that start recording voice as soon as its detected so if she has an issue with some guy then record him harassing her. Other than that your **** out of luck unless you can show a pattern of behavior with other employees as well.

Guys like this simply cannot help themselves and more often than not they are going to harass more than just one person at work.

You've been watching too much television Not every cop is Columbo, not every crime "lab" is NCIS

The vast majority of criminals are caught because they have the intellect of a rutabaga and are drunk besides. If you're smart enough to be a criminal "mastermind" you go into politics

As to your scenario why doesn't she run screaming? What's he going to do? chase her down with his pants around his ankles?.

After she gets away she should go to HR AND the Police, Either one or both of them are well within their legal rights to set up "stings" designed to capture him at no risk to her

The same thing you do when your son gets murdered by a Bernie supporter and you can't prove who did it.

Is that scenario a past or future episode of "Law and Order SVU"?

For arguments sake lets say she finds a better paying job the next day. Your questions are designed to elicit only the answers you want. Better yet, she should wait 36 years before saying anything to anyone and list 4 possible witnesses who fail to corroborate her story.
And you think she should stay and work there like some battered woman. How progressive of you.

Dozens of women came forward to accuse Bill Clinton of actual rape and he still got elected. Ted Kennedy killed a woman and was rewarded with a lifetime seat on the senate.

This would not have been the first time this boss of hers has harassed a woman so there would be other reports from other women. It wouldn't be he said she said. It would be he said they said, like with Bill Clinton. Your little scenario has easily fallen apart.

Oh ya? How do you know that? There is after all a first time for everything. Maybe it WAS his first time. Maybe there were other victims, but he was able to threaten them enough they didnt report it.

Either way, your statement about this falling about, is pure BS. Its a perfectly valid situation. I know that, because I modeled this after something that happened IRL to my own mother.

I love how the woman just stood there and let him do all this stuff in your scenario.

You want to know how to address this, I'll tell you how.

As soon as "i've always found you to be attractive" comes out of his mouth, you turn and walk away. The next day you go to HR and lodge a complaint.

Then you make sure you are never alone with the person. Then you find a new job and let everyone else who works there know why.

If you work for a boss stupid enough to do this to one person, they've done it to others, or will do it again.

People who like to sexually assault others, both male and female, don't do it one time then stop.

    Not even close.

The studies on false rape allegations from a range of studies go from 1.5% all the way to 90%

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_accusation_of_rape

I link to the wiki article only because it lists all of the listed studies.

Are you aware of the existence of a large number of adult females preying on minor children in the education system?

A woman no more needs to be the victim of sexual assault than a man.

While I agree with your approach, and I would like to think I would do the same thing. But some people will respond to the threat of job loss and income loss. Especially if they have children to support.

And your mother didn't say anything, just sat there and allowed herself to be demeaned?
You say he pulled his pecker out. That doesn't sound like his first time. The guy who assaulted your mother - was it his first time? You know it wasn't.

So you would like to encourage them to allow themselves to be victimized.

Perhaps this is the real reason more of it doesn't get reported instead of your theory.
