Each year over the last decade showed more trouble in the world. There was not a single month that was peaceful and calm.
2015 will probably look the same. The world is showing more chaos and movement.
The spread of emotion via mass communication, television and the internet is the reason why.

People's nature, fears and curiosities, is why they continue to follow the news and continue to find answers.
Thus this spread of emotions (which resembles the spread of a virus) is very hard to reduce.
And need to be reduced, because in the end it will lead to a global revolution (will lead to political end games, and world history)

One of the most direct ways to reduce the spread of emotion is by quitting to reply in the news threads on forums (and also turn off the news and politics, because it's a neverending story), which is hard, because you want to see the news and want say something about it.
This shows you how powerful emotion is, and thus how dangerous, because it spreads (like a virus) around the globe by mass communication.

The world needs a 'vaccination' soon. Because when the 'patient' does not cure, it is going to die.

Trouble also brings with it opportunity. Whether we have the leadership to effectively seize the opportunities that present themselves is largely debateable at this point.

“I see no hope for the future of our people if they are dependent on the frivolous youth of today, for certainly all youth are reckless beyond words. When I was a boy, we were taught to be discrete and respectful of elders, but the present youth are exceedingly wise and impatient of restraint.”

    ~Hesiod (circa 700BC)
