The Witcher III is amazing. The world is huge and beautiful and there is no shortage of things to do, see, and explore.

    Yeah! great game.

on my XBOX one I just found out I can play the old 360 games, so I am playing Mass Effect again.

On PC, playing Silent Hunter IV Wolves of the Pacific, Galactic Civilizations 3, IL-2 Sturmovik, and Total War: Atilla.

Upgraded my PC a couple of weeks ago (hello new 980ti) and hitting up the wasteland of Fallout 4. Lots of fun, but not much of a deviation from 3.

I had to decide whether to get Fallout 4 for $80 or a previous title for $20.

Went with New Vegas. Modded it heavily. Not disappointed. Honestly, knowing what I do about Bethesda, I doubt the writing in Fallout 4 could be better than New Vegas. Bethesda just doesn't have many good writers.

Been playing Don't Starve. Not a AAA title, but has some great playability and is very quirky. It was cheap on Steam, highly rated, and turned out to be far better than I expected. What I love and hate about it is that while you can save the game, if you die, that game is over and the save is gone. Thinking about going to Don't Starve Together which adds a multiplayer aspect.

Witcher 3, even though it crashes a lot. Definitely a great action rpg. Wish I could play gwent in real life.

I liked This War of Mine, if you're into unusual survival games probably would enjoy it.

Yeah. The writing seems a bit....lacking so far, but then again, I'm not that far into it yet.

Once I'm done the first playthrough, I'm gonna go back and mod the crap out of it and see how it looks and plays. Probably do a NV run one of these days again too.

I've been putting some time into ARK;Survival evolved. While the game is still in alpha and has some optimization issues to work out, it's a lot of fun. Survive, build, tame dinosaurs, breed them, form alliances, it has it all.

My recommendation is to find a non official server that is PVE to learn the game before getting into the toxicity that comes with any PVP game. If anyone is interested, PM me and I could show you the ropes. Warning: this game will suck away copious amounts of time from your life.

Ya, Fallout 4 has been a blast. The shooting mechanics are finally good and the wasteland has a bit of a color palette.

The main story in Fallout 4 is good enough to do the job but most of the side missions are just to get you to explore the map with fetch missions. If you want an epic story try The Witcher 3.

Been playing Saints Row 4 Re-Elected and it is an silly over the top game that is good albeit repetitive fun. Also been playing Diablo III on the XB1. The difficulty of D3 is way too east until you finish chapter 4 after which all levels of difficulty are open. But there are a number of improvements to D3 over the XBOX 360 version.

So bought GTA V for the XB1 after previously beating it on the 360. The game looks much better and been having a blast playing through Los Santos again. Also bought Just Cause 3, it is a much more simple game that GTA V but running around causing chaos never gets old and the new tether mechanic is a blast! Shooting an anchor at a helicopter then tethering it to the ground or some explosive object is just insanity and sooo much fun!

XCOM: Enemy Within (Longwar mod) is the best, and hardest, game I've ever played.

    Xcom is just awesome.

Had been playing Stardew Valley, but it's the type of game I get burned out on after 5-6 seasons, so I'm taking a break for a few weeks.

Considering checking out Minecraft again now that 1.9 is out.

The new Mad Max game is surprisingly good. It is in my view an underrated game. I think the reason why some do not like the game is because it is not completely faithful to the movie and has fairly simple melee combat. From my perspective the graphics are stunning, the voice acting is well done, the sense of exploration is amazing, the combat both on foot and in car is not overly complicated yet is immensely rewarding, the list of things to do is huge and fun, all in all making a great game.

The only weakness I see so far is the story but as the gameplay is so amazing I do not care that the story is not as fleshed out as a game like GTA V.

Been playing the Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 addons. Looking to get Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition, looks to be in akin to the old Baldur's Gate games.

Same here. The game is so addictive. Blizzard really knows how to make a game.

Screw 'em. I'm not giving them a cent since what they pulled with Nostalrius.

The Witcher 3 (and add-ons) was one of the best games ever created. Doom (2016) single-player campaign was an absolute blast (multiplayer is pretty bad).

However, I'm currently in a lull looking for a decent new game to play, preferable something co-op with my brother. There are quite a few games I'm looking forward to, but none of them will be coming out any time soon (Civ VI, Quake Champions, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Mass Effect Andromeda, Dishonored 2, For Honor, Gwent, Prey, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, Cyberpunk 2077, and probably a couple I'm forgetting), and for the most part, we're not really into straight up/standard MOBAs/multiplayer games like Overwatch, CS:GO, etc (the upcoming Quake Champions being an exception).

Also, I haven't seen a single MMO that looks worth the time in quite a while, or in the near future.

    Any suggestions?

Meh, I think people view Vanilla WoW with rose colored glasses. I can't say I was upset because I personally wasn't affected by the decision.

Well, to me it's not right that they've altered that game so extensively while making its previous releases unavailable. I didn't buy a license and pay a sub only to have that game vanish and be replaced by the next "expansion". It got especially bad from Cataclysm on.

It's no rose-colored glasses deal to me. Playing on Vanilla private servers, I have the kind of fun I had with that game originally. Fun I do not have with retail as it exists currently.
