...til I found out what 'early release' really means... I should've waited.

I registered my Galaxy Super Yacht I called 'Boaty McBoatface' under a Maltese flag.
I make myself laugh and that $6, 000, 000.00+ purchase is more than enough for a golden passport, but really; I just did it for the lax tax and crew nationality allowances, and the priority docking at some ports; also, they didn't have a Singapore flag/option but they had Malta, so, Malta it is.

If I can't play GTA for my own amusement, then I don't wanna know.

Funny thing, I bought a PS5 for my home theater setup since I totally rebuilt it, but with the covid thing, I've not been able to shop for a couch yet... So I can't play the damn thing since I don't have anything to sit on beside a old straight kitchen chair...

I have a regular, super, and Nintendo 64. I prefer the older games, because they're less graphic, with blood, guts and gore.
They're better for children, then most games now adays.

On regular, I have such favorites as duck hunt, with the toy gun. Super Mario Brothers 1 and 3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and several other good ones. On super, I have Donkey Kong, and Ms. Pacman and others. 64. I have 007, Super Mario Kart and others.

I also, like the original wii, but don't have one.

We didn't realize it then, but the 90s were the best humanity ever got.

My favourites on N64 include Donkey Kong 64, Goldeneye 007, Super Mario 64, Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time, Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie.

The world has gone to **** since.

I would agree, that old school is a lot different than new school games. I had the Goldeneye 007, and not the James Bond 007 one, but enjoyed both. I think that it was on 64, that my brother constantly played the Zelda game. I use to play Super Mario Kart on 64 all of the time! and Donkey Kong on Super Nintendo was freaking awesome!!! collecting all of those bananas!

I think that they're called Mario Party. But I think that they're on several systems. I remember playing them on the Wii, and up to 4 players can play, and they are vs. each other, and they're very family friendly games. I enjoyed them very much, and wish that I had a Wii, with 4 controllers, and Mario Party.

Ahh, the 90s, a simpler time, before games tried to shoehorn lesbian women into WWII games.

I honestly can't think of anything of value from the past two decades at a minimum.

The Mass Effect series and the Dragon Age series. I mean, pretty much anything Bioware. Plus Skyrim, of course. Amazing storytelling. I can't think of anything from the past that compares.

Cyborg Justice on SG is still the most enjoyable multiplayer fighting game imo. Ill have to see if I can find an emulator... Something about yanking other players parts off and then using them agaist them is really enjoyable.

I'm Currently playing the hell out of DCS, at the moment flying my P-51D Mustang over the English Channel in the excellent "Blue Nosed Bastards of Bodney" campaign. I switch aircraft a lot though. I currently have the modules for the P-51D Mustang, P-47D Thunderbolt, Spitfire Mk IX, F-5E Tiger II, MiG-21 bis, A-10C Warthog, F-14 A/B Tomcat, F-16C Viper, F/A-18C Hornet, UH-1H Huey, and the AH-64D Apache Longbow. Those are the "high fidelity" modules. I've also got the "flaming cliffs" low fidelity aircraft with the MiG-29, Su-27, A-10A, F-15C, Su-25, and maybe a couple other aircraft that I can't remember at the moment. For regions I have the default Georgia/Black Sea and Guam maps, Syria, Persian Gulf, Nevada, as well as the WW2 Normandy and the English Channel maps. Hands down the best combat flight simulator of all time.

I also play a lot of IL-2 Sturmovik Great battles. It does not have the fully "clickable" cockpits that DCS has, but other than that its fairly realistic. And it delivers a more immersive WW2 experience with its career modes. For that I have the battles of Moscow, Stalingrad, Kuban, Bodenplatte, and Normandy.

And then I play a lot of Microsoft Flight Simulator when I just want to relax and explore the planet without being shot at. I've got quite a few aircraft for that as well.

In case you can't tell, I'm a flight sim junkie.

Mass Effect 1 and 2 were great, ME3 they should have taken the fan alternate ending and run with it.

I prefer Morrowind and Oblivion to Skyrim.

Dragon Age 1 was one of the greatest games ever made. 2 was a disaster. Inquisition was good, not great.

Old Bioware was amazing. They haven't done much worth playing in a while now. SWTOR was a massive let down.

Right now I'm really enjoying a few Assassin's Creed games I missed, not because they're great games, but because they're great, immersive settings. Origins and Odyssey for those wondering.

Biggest problem with modern games is that they're produced by hundreds of people. Games used to be developed by a tight knit team of a dozen developers, all of whom knew the source material, knew each other, and had a common vision.

Hell yeah, I've spent hours just wandering around Egypt and Greece in Assassins creed, and love the discovery tours. The settings are what I play AC for. The gameplay is great too, but that is actually secondary to me for those games. I'm really excited for Assassin's Creed Mirage, coming out early next year I think. It will take place in 9th Century Baghdad, and looks like it will be phenomenal as far as the efforts that they are going to to recreate the city.

My only "video game" is the remote control for the TV but I'm just a broken down old White man.

What percentage of forum members do you think play video games regularly?

    Thanks,

Mesopotamia is a very underrated setting. It is not all sand, as one might expect. If I mention the term Iraq, all that comes to mind is sand and deserts.

I don't have any interest in the Nordic game. Don't care for the setting. I only play AC games for the setting, though AC2 did excite me with its story.

I love that one, it's easy to forget how great games were in the 8 bit era. Lots of good ones recently developed.

I reckon the small development team gives them an advantage over AAA games with hundreds of employees.
