As I surmised , you have no point so have to concentrate on me...don't worry, most Anti-Choicers end up that way, having to get personal due to their total lack of facts..
Hardly, sometimes birth control fails. and no one is obliged to put BC drugs and/or foreign objects in their bodies...sometimes that's not a very responsible thing to do. And if you're 12 and your father rapes you and you become pregnant you are not irresponsible. If any woman is raped and becomes pregnant she is not responsible. If a woman has an unwanted pregnancy and she can't afford or doesn't want a kid, the responsible thing to do is get an abortion. There , blew your "conclusion" out of the water...
Hardly, we are talking about those who use abortion as a form of birth control.. "If a woman has an unwanted pregnancy and she can't afford or doesn't want a kid, the responsible thing to do is get an abortion." Um no. Just kill a baby because you don't want to be inconvenienced by your irresponsible actions.. She took the risk and now will murder to avoid the consequences..
I don't believe courts have ruled that Medical Records were covered under the 4th Amendment. If they had, there would have been no need for HIPPA laws. However if you are familiar with such a court case I would be curious.
Um, no, no baby is killed nor murdered in an abortion.....that's another false "conclusion". BTW, where is the law that says if you take a risk you have to suffer the consequences? Where is the law against doing things for convenience ?
Um, no, no baby is killed nor murdered in an abortion.....that's another false "conclusion". BTW, where is the law that says if you take a risk you have to suffer the consequences? Where is the law against doing things for convenience ? Uh, DOOOd, why can't you address my post?
I don't need to repeat myself about killing babies is murder and feel no need to refute your position.. You said it, not me, so it's even better..
I went with Have a Party.... What Will You Do? Syop having sex. 0 vote(s) 0.0% Biatch and moan. 0 vote(s) 0.0% Move away. 3 vote(s) 16.7% Nothing. 10 vote(s) 55.6% * Have a Party. 5 vote(s) 27.8% Change Your Vote
So you just wanted to make a meaningless speech....most posters come here to discuss things...… Score 0 for your side (again)
That CRAP about breast cancer has been debunked for years...….and has NOTHING to do with a woman's right to her own body....and has nothing to do with the topic......floundering ???
Because a "health of the mother" exception has no other purpose but to make an anti-abortion law unenforceable.
No, I am not familiar with any such case myself but your question prompted me to research the issue. In essence privacy of medical records was sacrosanct under the Hippocratic Oath whereby a doctor could lose his license to practice if he revealed confidential patient information. That worked just fine in the era when there were only paper records. Then along came computers and the need for information to be captured, transmitted and stored. Now suddenly a great many people had access to these medical records and they had not taken the Hippocratic Oath and would not lose their medical license since they did not have one. The concept of HIPAA was to protect the privacy of patient information as it related to computerized information and, in essence, it follows the same lines as the Hippocratic Oath and the 4th Amendment. Originally it did not have the same degree of safeguards but it has been subsequently amended to fall in line with the 4th Amendment. In other words your medical records are private except when there is reasonable cause for search and seizure. An example of that is someone "doctor shopping" in order to obtain multiple prescriptions for controlled substances. In that instance the right to privacy is voided in the commission of a crime.
Well I can’t rightly comment on the Ireland story because I have no link and literally zero information to try to look into. I did however look into the other two here in America. In the first case a woman had gotten into a car wreck, when police arrived she had alcohol on her breath, was unstable on her feet, bloodshot eyes, and was driving without a license. It was for those reasons that she was arrested. Absolutely nothing to do with abortion, nothing to do with crossing state lines, and nothing to do with her right to travel freely within her country. The second story is certainly more tragic, but the truth of it is that the woman was arrested for having prescription narcotics without a prescription. Again, nothing to do with abortion, state lines, or ability to travel freely within her country.
I didn't vote for any of these because if they outlawed abortion in America, I would still obtain an abortion for my daughters if they needed one. I would just go out of the country to get it. The reality is that people with resources (money) will always be able to find a law to obtain abortions...it will be poor women that suffer unfortunately.
