The left has always seen government as the entity responsible for their sustainability. The organization that provides to them, fixes their issues, and establishes expectations for the collective. The left views government much how the right views Trump.

It doesn't surprise me at all that the left is so willing to align with the demands and requirements established by the government. Putting full faith, and literally their life in the hands of elected officials. The right remembers history, the absolutely awful atrocities committed by governments around the globe, including our own. They are skeptical of government, their ulterior motives, and simply don't trust them to provide for the people or their best interests.

Only one of the two sides provides their support through an authoritarian manner, while the other is adverse to the idea of authority. I tend to lean away from authority, provide for me and my families sustainability, and make the decisions that I feel are long term beneficial to myself.

This is where we are as a country. Nearly every political issue is aligned with this division. The vaccine is no different.
