Trump promised to release his tax returns.

He still fails to release them.

He says the info inside them can be used against him.

So what's inside the tax returns?

large real estate investments in the former USSR and Turkey?

    grants from the Russian government?

    ???

I wouldn't go so far as to say there is something that would tank his entire presidency, but I would be money there is something in there that would ruin his empire's image if the general public found out.

i think there is a good chance that there are some investments and connections thta might get him into serious trouble.

working with corrupt politicians connected to Iran Revolutionary Guard, for example.

    conflict of interest with Turkey

Does it matter? If Trump's tax returns came out exactly the same as say, Kerry, Clinton, or Obama you'd complain, since they will be different, you'll complain. If it showed he gave half his income to charity, you'd complain. You people no longer have any right to demand or ask for anything, all you'll do is complain. You folks need to earn any request by actually growing up and acting adult for at least a year or more. Continued whining will only make it worse for you folks...

Cons don't want Trump to release his tax returns cause they KNOW they will reveal serious conflicts of interests in several former USSR states and Turkey.

and they will reveal his business dealings with corrupt foreigners.....

I think what it will show is he managed to like just about every rich person avoid paying high percent of his money in taxes. Didn't vote because an option like showing he hardly paid taxes wasn't a choice.

This to me is trashing the rich.

When Madcow published his tax return it shows he paid in the area of 35 million dollars to the IRS. This does not show his entire taxes paid. He paid millions more to property taxes. Many millions more to worker taxes.

Tell me if in your entire lifetime, will you pay just what Trump paid in that one year?

When you are rich, you pay taxes most Americans never even know of.

I paid Federal income taxes for many years that he did NOT.

why hasn't he released his unaudited tax returns?

his financial disclosure statement doesn't list all his financial connections in foreign states.

    what is he hiding?

He has not been prosecuted for not paying taxes, I guess it was legal. Do you use the deductions that are allowed for you to use or do you pay more taxes then is required? Use of tax loopholes is not illegal and if you don't like it then try to change them. I don't care what his tax returns show as long as IRS is OK with it then it is legal.

Speculating on what is in them is pointless. But he does have a very tangled web of assets and liabilities that should be scrutinized.
A president should have no financial secrets from the people he governs. It is only then that the people can be reassured that he is acting solely on their behalf. Considering donnies career and track record so far, that reassurance is rapidly increasing in demand across the partisan spectrum.

I am VERY concerned that Trump's financial conflicts of interests make him an easy target for blackmail, that he will be pushing for changes to the tax code and regulations that he will benefit from very personally, or that he is in bed with some very shady foreign characters, banks, etc.

until he releases his tax returns that are not under audit, he simply cannot be trusted or be allowed to make any significant changes to our tax code or financial regulations.

    What's in Trump's tax returns?

Probably enough damaging data to get even the most ardent TrumpHumper upset. Likely we will never know until it is too late.

You were not concerned about Hillary and the pay to play CF. LOL She owed lots of elites some big favors for her 1.2 billion dollar loss of their money. You were not concerned she owned over a billion in favors. But you are concerned about trump? LOL Pretty funny stuff here.

He is more trustworthy than the corrupt politician you supported, helped along by a corrupt DNC. So, it is rather funny a Hillary supporter should be worried about trump and his tax returns. What a laughing stock we have here.

I dont think it matters and frankly could care less. It never mattered to me for any other politician either. But it is true that no matter if he does or does not his opponents will use it against him and not be satisfied. So what does it benefit him to do so?

The poll is missing an option, "The truth".
Truth is what'a in there, and that's what Trump is scared of.

If his tax returns are all legal it doesn't matter what is in them and they passed IRS. Release of tax returns are not required anyway.
