I appreciate what you're saying, but overall, I think it's painting too broad a brush. As much as I hate defending NeoCons, there are indeed republicans out there who ARE sane, who ARE atheist (though they won't come out and say it as it's political suicide in their party), etc. But I do agree with you that the modern NeoCons are nothing more than the Taliban of America. They believe the same things: Privilege for the few, law based on religious beliefs and all around 'patriotic dogma' which contradicts the very things they stand for. Like I said, it's primarily the neocons that are like this. As well, I'd like to take issue with your comments regarding Obama. While he didn't start an illegal war, he has been committing crimes against Americans and engaging in war crimes himself. His administration's drone program is sickening, especially since it built off of what Bush's regime laid the foundations for. So while I agree, he was a better choice than Romney, he's by no means innocent. What does Romney's religion have to do with it? Do we not have separation of church and state? What do you think Romney would have done if elected? I commend Obama for trying to give health care to all Americans, although his plan won't do that and it will wind up almost bankrupting this country. I think we can do better. I think Obama has done several things I like, like requiring new labels being put on fast food so people know what they are eating. I'm glad he followed through with Bush's plan to bail out th banks and GM and Chrysler, although I think he didn't require enough from the union employees and he gave to much to Fiat to help out Chrysler. It is no longer an American company. I don't like it Obama constantly lied about almost everything he ran on and that he is pushing immigration reform without trying to fix our immigration problem.

All emergency rooms, by law, are required to treat those who show up with health issues. So all Americans had health care. No one was turned away. Heck, even the illegal aliens had health care. Who do you think was delivering their babies. It's the pandering politicians who say we need to provide health care for all people. What the politicians are really saying is, "Give me enough money and I'll manage your health care". Power, power, power. I have one question on people wanting free health care -- convince me why I should pay for your health insurance.
