And these folks support the Federal Government directing the powers we entrust to them, against political opponents, and Jeff Sessions is showing me little evidence that he is the man to dig to the bottom of this and jail folks.

A good fried of mine things the reason official DC isn't taking this on, is that these spy agencies have dug up dirt on everyone and is blackmailing the entire swamp.

    Your thoughts?

It's a bull **** word that means nothing, the word is "Conspiracy" and it must be a "Conspiracy" to commit a crime:
Is not a stand alone offense.

(18 USC 371) Conspiracy to defraud United States... of what?

18 USC 1030—intentionally accesses a computer without authorization or exceeds authorized access, and thereby obtains... WTH? This isn't the thread on DWS IT team made up of the Pakistani Crime Family.

18 USC 1343— Fraud by television?

52 USC 30121— Contributions and donations by foreign nationals... Well, this certainly looks like something that so far is the most likely to be something that can proven or disproved. a person to solicit, accept, or receive a contribution or donation described in subparagraph (A) or (B) of paragraph (1) from a foreign national.

    18 USC 2381—Treason?
Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death.

    Who is the ENEMY?

You were true to your word and I appreciate it.

    Take care,
    Zorro

The serious Left used to worry about that sort of thing.

“While restraint such as these have come and gone over the past half century, a more formal and enduring body of curbs on political and social movements in opposition to the status quo has flourished in the form of a system of political intelligence immune to changes in political climate, judicial scrutiny, executive or congressional control. Largely extralegal, autonomous, and clandestine, this political police system has monitored dissent with ever increasing intensity since the end of World War I.” The Age of Surveillance, The Aims and Methods of America's Political intelligence System, Frank J. Donner, Alfred A. Knopf, Inc., New York, 1980. p. 3.

What passes for the "Left" these days think it is their Surveillance State. Foolish.

The Left isn't Liberal, they are "Progressives" the same folks who were deeply involved in Eugenics.

This is why the upcoming game show category is likely to be: Who Said It? Valerie Plame or David Duke!

Yes, Plame like many on "left" switch from Red to Brown rather easily.

"The next morning the SA and SS, with the help of police, seized union offices throughout the nation. Labor leaders who had yesterday pledged allegiance to the government were arrested in their homes; union files and bank accounts were confiscated and labor newspapers shut down. Before nightfall organized labor in Germany was obliterated. But Hitler promised the workers that they would be better off than ever in the new German Labor Front and their rights would be fully protected. There was no uprising, no organized protest, and by the end of the month the vast army of workers was marching obediently behind the swastika. *They had changed from red to brown without breaking step*." (* *mine), John Toland, "Adolph Hitler" p311,312.

Seems you aren't aware of what her portfolio is. UN ambassador needs to know whose playing footsie and what's up with the guy across the table representing a nation that the US wants something from. It ain't oblique in any sense. Its DIRECTLY related to her function.

But I can see your point. Why not fly blind. Its not like knowledge and information are all that necessary when playing geopolitics.

The one I responded to seemed to confuse Trump and Manafort. I presumed you meant to suggest that they were part of the same and equally complicit. Not exactly sure what the **** you are confused about.

Whatever happened to the ‘unmaskings’ probe?

One of the deepest, darkest, most important issues in the whole mess has to do with the massive number of “unmaskings” of U.S. citizens. It potentially opens a can of worms squirmier than many other issues.

cause that potential turned out to be more conspiratorial bullshit? Jus' guessin' since trump didn't take it anywhere. What' up with that anyway? Why isn't trump cleaning all this dastardly nefariousness up?

He has to wait for Mueller to complete his work. Are you in a big ass hurry or something? What's your rush? Some big deadline looming or something?

Wiretapping foreigners who could be terrorists isn’t as sensitive an issue, since our law doesn’t give them the same protection as U.S. citizens. The problem comes when wiretaps include U.S. citizens in contact with foreign targets. That’s called “incidental” collection.
