Oh yeah. The Earth has changed it's axis.Look at the moon some night
and you'll see it is slightly crooked.Like slightly tilted.

I think I was out there when it happened.

I was drinking beers and grilling with my buddies out in the yard one evening, when suddenly, I felt something cold against my right shoulder. I looked over, and it was the damn ground. That musta been when the axis shift happened.

I looked real hard last summer and don't see him. There's this Guy I used to see
at least a few times a month in summer riding his big Goldwing and shirtless.
No Hemlut { was shaved like Kojac } and just little skimpy swim pants.
He was literally as brown as a biscuit.
Only wore scandals also..He always dressed like that when riding into the Big city and
the Expressway.I kept thinkin' he's some sort of Nudist.A Motorcycle Nudist.
He looks almost exactly like this Old Pro wrestler from the 50's who had a nice
part in the Film Noir Thriller - The Killing - { 1956 } Directed by Stanley Kubrick.
That wrestler's name was Kola Kwariani or " Nick the Wrestler " who later
went on the help train the Great Bruno Sammartino. After just researching with
Wikipedia it was true that like in the movie Kola { Nick } loved playing chess.
He died in fact upon entering the Chess & Checker Club in New York where
    he was a member.
He was approached by 5 black youth. It was a well known fact that Nick
never took any guff from anybody. As he was entering the Chess club from
downstairs ,the black youth and Nick bumped into each other. In no time Nick was
" engaged in a fight with all five blacks at once.Nick probably could have
handled any one or two of them but five were too many.He was beaten. "
Taken to the hospital where he died.
I wonder if Reincarnation is making a comeback.

during the daylight hours, avoid congested areas.

There is something to be said for open-face helmets as well

I can't help it by I must go back to lusting.A favorite pastime of many.
If you COULD have whatever motorcycle you wanted what would it be.
Granted that Dealer availibilty was not too much an issue.
Like say with a New Orleans - Confederate Motorcycle - Wraith.

All well & Good BUT the Lusting was in reference to a MOTORCYCLE.
I'll let you know when it's time for a Scooter lusting.
I did fall upon a Bergman Ad in a motorcycle mag yesterday. It was for the
200 cc. I found an article about " scooters " in my Sept 2014 - Motor Cyclist - mag.
By a Jack Lewis title - Clubbing the Seal -. Seems this writer and his " Pretty Wife "
where in Seattle and needed to buzz around town. They checked out a scooter for a
day in the city.He writes " Stuck on our scooter throughout Seattle's first Cali-perfect
day,we whiled away the afternoon darting around urban lakes, slicing traffic like home-
gingered sashimi, and generally playing the tourist. It was necessary subterfuge.
I have friends in this town, friends with real motorcycles, and I'd like to keep them."
He and his " Pretty wife " rode around on a rented BMW C650 GT

Burg 650 is a motorcycle. It's a touring bike...fully highway capable, great for a long-distance ride. Put down the water pipe, boy...the ditch weed is makin' you stupid.

Of course this now means you have to take up yer argument { that a bergman is
much more than a scooter } with Jack Lewis .

No, it's a scooter. Suzuki themselves list it as a scooter, not a motorcycle.

Just did another ~250 miles this weekend...me on the Burg, my wife on her Comet. (Her PC has a bad front tire.)

I ride a motorcycle because it's a lot more fun than therapy.

A scooter is not a motorcycle.

Most scooters have a step-through frame, and are simpler to operate than a motorcycle. For a novice rider, this is a good choice as an automatic transmission is one less thing to worry about.

I no longer own a motorcycle, today's drivers are too distracted.

Technically WRONG. A type of motorcycle as example would be :
    Cruiser
    Sportbike
    Tourer
    Dirt Bike
    Standard { CB 1100 }
    and Dual-Purpose .

I do no such thing when out and about.Maybe on a message board I may appear the
bike snob. But that's what Harley owners are ... Snobs.
I listen and act gentlemanly when any motorcycle I approach is subject for debate.
I am a Motorcyclist.I'm interested in more than Cruisers or Loud,Clone Hellraiser
    machines for boulevard hops.

I was at one time somewhat interested in a V-Max.Probably because they
are nearly as rare on the road as my Rune.I have never had the opportunity
to pull up next to a V-Max.I also have never had the opportunity to pull
    up alongside another rune.I don't go on Runs anymore { Like Toys for Tots }
or Bike gatherings. The last one I went to was about 8-9 years ago.I have gotten
jaded over hearing biker nonsense.Practially all Bikers are Prejudice.
In fact,it's part of being a biker. That is why I so liked the guy on YouTube at
    - Competition Accessories - or Reuben. That guy was a real motorcycle dude.
Very knowledgable, yet polite and considerate to a fault.
    Like Jay leno.
I cannot stand grown-up punks like Jessie James.I had him pegged early on.
He's a control freak.Has to control everyone in his employ.
I'm glad his former actress wife { Sandra Bullock } sacked his moronic welder's ass.

No matter how many times you screech that to the heavens, it's still wrong.

Well, yes...the step-through frame is the defining characteristic of a scooter. Some motorcycles (mostly Hondas) have automatic transmissions. I would be surprised if I didn't see more in the next few years.

    Your loss.

    A scooter...is a scooter. It has a floorboard...and is step through.
I will concede and say it is a type of bike.

    Bike
    .....motorcycle
    .....trike
    .....scooter
    .....moped

2-3 wheeled motorized form of transportation = bike, not to be confused with bicycle

You own a type of bike, a scooter.

It's not a "type" of motorcycle...an enduro is a type of motorcycle, a standard is a type of motorcycle, a cruiser is a type of motorcycle...

    A scooter is a scooter.

That's not an insult, that's how they are defined by most anyway.

There are racing scooters capable of going very fast...and highway capable scooters...it's still a scooter.

It's like trying to prove a Cruiser is a Sportbike. That a Sportbike is a Dirt Bike.
That a Dirt Bike is a Tourer.
It's an unsophisticated and irrational argument.Like me trying to say an
    Evo { Mitsibushi Evolution } a Rally Road car is a Sports car.It's a
Sports Sedan.Because it has 4 doors and easily fits 2 grown adults in the back seat.
There's a reason for a long time The only Sports car manufactured in this country
was the Corvette.A GTO was not a sports car.Nor was a Mustang or a SS 396.
Or a Dodge Barricuda or Z28.
