I asked this on another thread about Nunes -
Can ANYBODY come up with a legitimate reason for Nunes' actions?
Clearly, he was warning the White House that the investigation is getting close, maybe tipping them off to watch out for certain people -
    Trump Chumps -
Give us a plausible reason for Nunes' behavior that doesn't make him a piece of S@@T.

Beginning Wednesday, every single day I have checked to see if there is anything about what Nunes has. Absolutely nothing. There are not state secrets here. Did Trump's staff coordinate activities with the Russians, or didn't they? As each day goes by, Trump looks more and more guilty.

An interesting OP/Ed for the Chicago Tribune begins thusly:

You know things are looking grim for President Donald Trump when he starts tweeting about Hillary Clinton again. Monday evening he sounded trapped and wounded: "Why isn't the House Intelligence Committee looking into the Bill & Hillary deal that allowed big Uranium to go to Russia, Russian speech."

Well, perhaps it is because she is not president, did not hold back her tax returns, did not constantly cheer for Vladimir Putin, did not hire a host of pro-Putin flunkies and did not have aides who lied about contact with Russian officials.

You won't get an answer from the Trump types. They will change the subject to Obama and/or Clinton then hit you with a personal attack, maybe attacking your mother.

What can they say? Defending Trump is impossible, and Nunes activities are incomprehensible.

Not by the chairman of the Congressional committee investigating him. He obviously is updated by his staff, but not by Congress. Keep in mind, Congress and the President are equals in the eyes of the law and our Constitution.

So far, three Republicans have demanded he step down from the investigation, Sens. Graham and McCain and Rep. Walter Jones.

When asked if Nunes should step down, Ryan gave him a half-hearted attaboy. He simply said "No and no."

Nunes seems to have gotten confused about the length of his committee's investigation. In a reply he said, "As you know, this Russia issue, we have been on it for many, many years, and so we'll continue to be on the issue."

"Many, many years?" Or was it a Freudian slip? Does Trump's connection to the Russians go back "many, many years?"

Every time Nunes opens his big mouth he sounds more incompetent, and less trustworthy.

The opinion of the Chicago Tribune is worth very little, especially when you consider the obvious bias of MSM. Keep checking for news on what Nunes has. It hasn't even been a week. Be patient.

If this is how governments generally view diplomacy, we should no longer question why war is inevitable. If Diplomats are spies, then should the US Peace Corps merge with the NSA?

No he didn't. No evidence of that has been given, no evidence of that has even been put FORTH other than "Wah, they had business dealings in Russia!". Frankly, I demand more and so should you(so should everyone.) Comey has had 8 months with this investigation(his words, not mine.) That's enough time. It was the same timeframe for Hillary Clinton, and this can't be any more difficult.

When Comey said he "couldn't comment" and at the same time, offered in my opinion legal defense for the leaker(not promising to prosecute), that was the moment he lost legitimacy. We need to know EVERYTHING the FBI has uncovered in these 8 months. If the FBI cannot give us that, we need to declare there's no case.

    Nunes.

He's completely screwed the integrity of this Congressional investigation.

We absolutely need a Special Prosecutor

I also want things to go shhh. Either Trump's guilty of sedition and treason or he isn't. Either he's a foreign agent or he's not. If I were a Republican, I'd take their charges and say "Okay, we'll appoint a special prosecutor and there's no Sessions either." And if it all comes out clean, I can't wait to hit them over with it. "Will you get to LEGISLATIVE WORK NOW?"

This whole thing is incredibly bizarre. There are so many unanswered questions, and so many questions the Trump team is refusing to answer;http://www.msnbc.com/the-last-word/...n-nunes-it-feels-like-a-cover-up-908844611947

If Republicans keep running from an independent investigation they're going to look awful if it turns out trump and his people are in bed with the Russians. The entire GOP will look dirty.

I know you asked him a question. But THIS thread is about Orange Turd being in bed with the Russians. Not about ancient history.

If trump and his people cheated trump into the White House with Russian help, that would be the biggest political story in our history. It deserves an independent investigation to prove the matter one way or the other.

trump has had tons of Russian money flowing to him for many years. And now, as president, he has trashed our allies, many ordinary citizens, other politicians, etc. He's spent countless sleepless nights sending out these insulting and brainless tweets. But, for some reason only trump knows, he NEVER seems able to say a single negative word about Russia or his Butt-Buddy, Putin. In fact, trump trips all over himself complimenting Putin. Why is this? Do the Russians own trump? That's sure what it looks like.

Don't worry , there are a few million digging for anything to tie Trump to the Russians. So if they didn't get that smoking gun yet , I sure got to wonder.

If you don't want a SP then let's have a 911 style non-partisan select committee

And I believe it was Sandy Shanks that said he does this for fun and if he can change someone's opinion it is worth it . Well here's the chance . I use my phone , and certainly don't have the time . Currently caregiver to parents with dementia. It's a tough thing.
