Some people live happily married for years, and others are onto their 4th marriage in twice as many years. Someone has the problem and it isn't the woman.

Well, in typical divorces, that I've seen in real life, the parents get part-time, shared visitation rights for the children. I can only assume there was something very wrong going on if the man looses the kids completely.

 

So you admit it is not a conservative state and the governor knows what is best for the people so much so that he can tell them how they should vote on issues.

Actually over 70 % of divorces are filed by women especially in states with no fault divorce. So how can you be sure they do not have the problem.

Part time shared parenting means a man is limited to how much he can see his children although he must still pay for them ( which means he really pays the ex wife ) and they generally stay in the house he purchased while another man moves in with the ex. All because she was bored with her ex husband.

None of that happened to me but it is the typical story of divorce nationwide.

And some wonder why people are becoming alarmed at men walking away from it all.

 

Since over half of marriages fail and 70 % of all divorces are filed by women it is in fact those women willfully CHOOSING to raise them alone while still demanding support from the man, do not forget in some states she can still demand support for herself AND the children.

You call it a financial burden men who are going through this call it destruction of their lives. It is not just about the money although yes that is part of it. They lose everything important to them and yet still have to pay.

When I said New York is a conservative state I was being facetious... But, only slightly. And, Governor Cuomo later clarified that he was only talking about politicians running for office in New York politics.

People wave flags and celebrate their victories. Deal with it... Women weren't even allowed to vote in the past, for example. And, women had many other problems...

Once again you ignore that the feminists are claiming to be about equality even though the victories they have achieved have nothing whatsoever to do with equality and everything to do with the oppression of men.

Much like AA is often described as a pendulum which has to swing one way in order to balance the problems of the distant past which oppressed one group of people. What advocates or apologists for this stupid idea forget is that pendulums swong back and forth they do not go one way and stop. The pendulum is now barely beginning to swing back against feminists and they do not like it. I do not have to deal with it I can join in the fight against it just as they did to achieve their victories. If what they claim about equality is true then they should be silent and accept that they have been wrong and now THEY will have to deal with it.

Up until a few years ago, and I mean only a few short years ago, New York WASN'T a no-fault divorce state. If someone wanted a divorce here, they had to go before a court and explain to the public why they needed to get a divorce. And that usually involved things like adultery and domestic violence. Things were REALLY wrong if people were getting divorced here under such restrictions.

You don't want to focus on money but feelings? Okay, yes, I'll admit that men have hearts too and they care about their children.

 

Actually, the smart move would have been to simply kill them both and leave them for the scavengers. No story, no witnesses...no problem.

Feminists dont have to fight for other aspects of equality, they are focused on their own issue. Lobby groups only lobby on their topic and do not have a role in other issues. People should stop complaining about things just because they see someone else having success, get off your behind and make a sensible mens movement instead of the hilarious ones online at the moment which do a disservice to the intelligence of all men
