The question relates to the Judeo-Christian God and is open to theists, agnostics and atheists and anybody else.
For example I'd rate myself at '9' on the grounds that the universe, Jesus and the prophets all indicate there is a God, but I can't be absolutely sure enough to go for '10'.
Likewise, can any atheist really rate themselves at '0'?

It definitely is possible at least one god exists.

It definitely is possible no gods exist.

Yes mate, but where do you personally place yourself on the scale?

PS- to his credit, Dawkins seems to place himself higher than '0'-

Perception is always the key to any belief. As humans, our personal world can only be perceived....We cannot ever touch true reality so....I think, to be honest, the 'Godometer' is a sliding scale depending on my perception at the time but it never goes to '0'

There may be a god. There might not be a god. I've seen no evidence for one. I strongly suspect that every religion in the history of the world is completely wrong about what god wants, needs, desires and how it wishes to be worshiped.

On YOUR scale...I am at position P.

I think my comment, which you quoted, is more valuable as an indicator of what you are apparently asking,

    What's "position P"?
Incidentally as a golfer you probably know that a blind golfer hit a hole in one in a youtube vid, but of course he'd have had no way of knowing it if his sighted friends hadn't started whooping and hollering and slapping him on the back and hugging him, and of course he had no reason to distrust them.
Likewise, do we have any reason to distrust the eyewitnesses to stuff in the Bible?

I think it is a good meter. So I will participate. I would be a 6. I am call myself an agnostic, for I just do not know. But if I had to guess, and given I do not buy pure chance creating the first self replicating organism, which somehow and for some reason clumped together, with each step then leading to mammals, my guess would be toward some god like force. So I am open to something beyond comprehension being responsible. But it sure ain't these gods the mind of man fabricated. Yet I just do not know. There is also the possibility that chance was involved. Even if it is incomprehensible to my mind.

Somewhere between 0 and 5. I have as much of a hard time having faith in the material world as I do in the "spiritual". I used the quotes because I fell like there should be a better word.

Everything is just an interpretation of reality constructed by our brains. In that context emotions and logic play equal roles. So far I'm not sure whether logic has saved me from more than its denied me, and I'm not sure whether emotion has carried me towards success more often than disaster.

To me "spirituality" is just the awareness of the immateriality of reality and the ability to sense wonder in the mundane.

The existence of a God seems trivial to me. If there is one I'm sure its fine with us doing the best we can with what we have, if there isn't one then I'm sure there's nothing wrong with it either.

There’s No Such Thing as Judeo-Christian Values
The label “Judeo-Christian” tends to assume, at the expense of Judaism, that Christians and Jews believe essentially the same things.

Yes, some scientists say the same thing, e.g.-
"As we survey all the evidence, the thought insistently arises that some supernatural agency - or, rather, Agency - must be involved. Is it possible that suddenly, without intending to, we have stumbled upon scientific proof of the existence of a Supreme Being?"- George Greenstein (astronomer),1988. The Symbiotic Universe. New York: William Morrow, p.27

I also like Senator John McCains observation that it seems as if God has nudged things along to keep them on track--
"I believe in evolution, but when I hilke the Grand Canyon at sunset, I see the hand of God there also"

It depends on how you want to define "God"?

I'm not sure I understand mate. Surely Jesus made it clear that the Old Testament God in Judaism is the same God that he himself was talking about?

What I am saying is that I am outside the parameters of your selections, Dropship.

Instead of trying to shoehorn my perspective into those selections...I am leaving it at:

    It is possible gods exist.

It is possible there are no gods.

I am willing to add this:

I can see no reason to suppose one is more likely than the other...so I simply do not make a guess about the probability of either.

    I am a zero.
God is a made-up answer to questions man can't (yet) answer.
If there were a god, what made it?
    Where did it come from?
We just moved the question with a made-up answer.

Tom Campbell, the physicist, thinks the universe is being created by some IT, from moment to moment, a virtual reality of sorts, in its highest sense. So there is one scientist who thinks there is an incomprehensible force outside of the universe in a perpetual creation mode, as we run on like a video game with free will participants. I do not know if this is true, but it would be marvelous if it were true.

Just to play along..."if there were a god, who made it?" someone might say it is similar to the idea of infinity. Which would have no end. So god would be eternal, no creator. It would be god because it is all that there is. Existing outside of time. So if god is timeless, your questions which are about TIME is out of context. If god is timeless your questions are assuming god is in time.

You might have done a proper poll!

Zero, of course, like any rational person.

I rate myself on that particular scale at 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000. All gods are imaginary. There is no real celestial deity in this solar system.

Yes, Jesus said he didn't come to overturn the Old T, but to show us how to apply its rules with decency and commonsense, and people quickly cottoned on..:)-
