White House Blocks Anthony Fauci From Testifying

Why in God's name are they blocking Fauci from testifying before Congress and on what basis?

 

Why hasn't Trump released his taxes? WHY WHY WHY is he blocking Fauci??? Must be a lot of bad freaking news he doesn't want the citizens of the USA to know. Because an honest man fears nothing.

 

The question is WHY??? What are they afraid of???

 

Why is this shocking? Dump gets rid of anyone who contradicts him on any level....his handlers are all about re-election, not public safety beyond a certain point).

“While the Trump Administration continues its whole-of-government response to COVID-19, including safely opening up America again and expediting vaccine development, it is counterproductive to have the very individuals involved in those efforts appearing at congressional hearings,” White House spokesman Judd Deere said in a statement Friday. “We are committed to working with Congress to offer testimony at the appropriate time.”

It sounds like the administration and Fauci have more important things than a partisan witchhunt to focus on right now. Sounds reasonable not to what to pull Fauci off the front lines right now for a bullsh*t witchhunt. Guy's got a lot on his plate already.

 

What a crock! Dump and company have fought any and all Congressional inquiries tooth and nail....hell, to date Dump has STILL not turned over his tax records for review....longest audit in the history of the world!

 

Apparently, you haven't kept up with revelations surrounding the FBI's attempt to take down President Trump.

 

Fauchi has time to appear on Fox News, CNN and other news organizations to promote the Trump agenda, he's got a few hours
to appear before Congress in their Oversight capacity. We need to prepare for the next round of Covid, and these Congressmen are the people's legally elected representatives.

 

Dr. Fauci can simply ignore the restriction but it would come at a heavy cost to him and us.

Albeit the administration is allowing him to testify before the Senate May 12.

So, of course, the former restriction is completely political.

And Congress is going to prepare by hearing Fauci prattle? Your own words work against you, they can hear him every day of the week if they so choose! This is another litany of examples of Pelosi's failed leadership of the House of Representatives, which sadly doesn't merely effect the district she failed to serve, but the entire country.

Fauci has been available since day one of the Task Force being created. This is neither the time nor moment to begin "oversights". What we have, is a party in absentee called the Democratic Party that struggles to represent its voters(who are as confused as they are about what it means to represent in a government.)

crisis, the better we handle the next pandemic - and given that we've had two in ten years, and we may be facing this again

Hell, Republicans held four years of investigations over Obama's response to the Benghazi attacks, and that only cost four lives and had zero economic impact. You honestly think that an event that has cost over 50,000 American lives and trillions
of dollars doesn't deserve at least the same? Really?

Which inquires has Trump fought? Do you mean the inquiries by Schiff and company on the FISA documents? Maybe you are talking about that fake impeachment fail? Wait, is it the peepee tape investigation where they found no peepee tapes? I think Trump has more important stuff to do than waste time on another failed political partisan witch hunt. There is no legal reason for Trump to turn over his tax returns.

 

Democrats spent 31 million dollars and 3 and a half years on nonexistent peepee tapes. Remember that two year investigation that Cummings demanded by the OIG about Trump firing Comey that wiped out the top levels of the FBI? Oh, and the FISA documents that Schiff said were completely above board that are now being investigated. That's what happens when a party uses investigations as campaign tools. Maybe that time to investigate would be after we get through this. Maybe wait until there is a good reason to have a bipartisan investigation. What a concept.

Are you really trying to claim that Dr. Fauci only speaks at press briefings? That's BS. Just an example of a few of his media appearances that are separate of the press briefings.

If Fauci has time to do all that media than he has time to appear in front of Congress on what is not only the single most important topic in America now, but the topic he is uniquely qualified to discuss.

There is no good reason to refuse to let him testify. There are some bad reasons, but no good ones.

 

Any news not micromanaged by Trumpers to make the Man of Bronze look good is a "partisan witch hunt" by their lights. The President is a ****** EMPLOYEE of Congress, not some sort of fracking King of the USA and yes, bosses to tend to ask hard questions of people who work for them, that's called OVERSIGHT and is the Constitutional duty of the Legislature.

Fauci is a SCIENTIST, and he answers inquiries put to him as such, not as a subservient toady of the President, something which Emperor Don the Painted Fool finds both repugnant and frightening

And now we hear that the White House thinks Fauci "has time" to testify before the GOP lead Senate but not before the Dem controlled House.
