Now, everyone in the WH has to wear a mask -- except Trump. So, Trump fans, how is it again that masks don't work? Is that why Trump now wants to have them used to protect himself? Because masks don't work? You still think government can stop a virus when all of this was never going to stop it but to keep the peak from swamping hospitals? We already peaked 20+ days ago and all this has done is flattened hospitals and the economy.
You still think people will just magically flock back to restaurants once stay at home orders are lifted? People will have to feel safe to do so. Trump can't order them to go back out into the economy and spend. However, what has he done to make people feel safe? He is battling his own outbreak in the WH at the moment. Now, everyone in the west wing has to wear masks. Why do those same rules not apply to the regular folks?
They do and why they were recommended to the states. Maybe you have an irresponsible governor or maybe a fascist one but we are doing the 5 phase opening here as suggested by the WH.

Some will. We saw that in Colorado with that resturant on Mother's Day. Sadly some of those folks are going to die...ya know...because "freedom"
Blah, blah, blah, fascist governor, blah, blah, blah... People are scared to come to work in the WH because of their outbreak. Maybe Trump should figure out how to clean up his own house first before he orders everyone else to go party so he can get re-elected. It's not rocket science. The experts have told him what needs to be done: Social distancing, wear gloves and masks, wash hand often, reduce density of workers in a workplace, test, test, and test more, isolate those testing positive, trace those who came into contact with positive patients, isolate them too.... What trump is doing, however, is re-opening the economy without a plan, based on hope that the virus won't come back in a second wave. People will pay a price for this, Trump will too.
The stench of death is clinging to the GOP and the Covidiot-in-Chief. Reopening the economy too soon is just going to make that stench so much worse. It would not surprise me in the least if the entire Whitehouse needs to be fumigated for both the virus and the roaches.
