More evidence that things really havent changed. Program started under Bush and has continued and amplified under Obama all under the guise of "National Security".

So enjoy the holidays and the "Duck Dynasty" drama. Meanwhile NDAA was passed again and now we have this battle going on but DONT TALK ABOUT IT! Talk about things that matter like Duck (*)(*)(*)(*)ing Dynasty.

    Dont forget

"The California litigation over warrantless surveillance represents the remnants of a wave of lawsuits filed in 2006 after The New York Times revealed that the Bush administration had authorized a program of wiretapping without warrants. Most of the initial suits were filed against telecommunications companies and were dismissed after Congress passed a law retroactively immunizing them for participating in the programs. "

Defy the Constitution? (*)(*)(*)(*) it just grant immunity!

Both parties are the same folks. Ponder that over a glass of Egg nog...

I've known they are the same for quite some time now. The president doesn't run the country, it's those behind the scenes that do. The president is just the puppet. You do what they say or you'll go away, president or not. Most have made the decision to comply. I wonder why?

Hmm... well... if you have government agency that works to bypass the law, then it's not reporting to the government, is it? After all, being a government agency, if the government says to stop doing something, then because it's a government agency, it should just stop, right?

Who, then, is it really reporting to?

That's the problem, we now have a fourth branch of government that doesn't seem to be accountable to anyone. Congress has given up their power to non elected bureaucrat agencies which rule over us.
