White Leader Limbaugh Befuddled By Bond

I tend to disagree. The real color issue here is the color of money. That is why they make films.

They probably figured that a black Bond would bring in a new audience and bring them more money.

Some characters are race based and it would be obscene to cast a white man as MLK and it would be ridiculous to cast a black man as Adolf Hitler.

Beyond that certain characters race is central to the story, with Bond it isn't. Only racists are upset.

 

Firstly....Rush not only is far from a leader, he has pretty much fallen off even WWII radar.

Secondly...Imagine if Hollywood decided to cast George Cloony in a remake of "Blade"

But my point still stands. Let them make the movie, if people want to see it they will. I'm guessing they won't.

Blacks and white guilt liberals will watch movies where the blacks rise up and overcome the white man. Hollywood should stick to Django Unchained and that years a slave movie if they want more money.

As if I didn't already question the intelligence of people who listen to Rush Limbaugh....anyway, I don't care if the next Bond is black or white, there's never been a consistent nationality for the character anyway, since Connery was a Scot, Lazenby was Australian, Brosnan was Irish, Timothy Dalton was Welsh, while Daniel Craig and Roger Moore are both British. As is Idris Elba.

The Character ( Bonds for the slow) was Scottish . He didnt say the people playing Bonds ( again the character for the slow) where all Scots.

And then selecting a black actor to play James Bond is equally stupid. Ian Flemming is clearly turning over in his grave at the moment.

What's funny is that this change is not very likely to bring in a large black audience. He'll most likely be portrayed as an "Uncle Tom" type black guy, and we all know how progressives feel about those types. Real blacks have "street cred" and vote Democrat.
