White privilege and I get why so many here have problems with it

I'd say a strong case for premeditated murder one. At any time during the fatal game of Simon Says they could easily have cuffed him but didn't. The commands were contradictory, confusing and given to someone clearly desperately trying to follow them. Added that the victim had committed no crime that surely added to his confusion.

They had already seen what he had behind his back when lying on his stomach with his arms outstretched.

Rich whites and rich blacks and rich of any race have money. And with that can come power...the power to do good or bad. White privilege has no clear definition and is just a hate word to show contempt for those whites that make good choices and do well.

 

Whites are denied jobs due to affirmative action, racial quotas (albeit very subtle and unspoken), and preferential hiring schemes and they have "white privilege." The black people can have Rev. (sic) Martin Luther King, Jr. Rev. (sic) Al Sharpton, Rev. (sic) Jesse Jackson, the late Rev. (sic) Hosea Williams, Rev. (sic) Joseph Lowery, Rev. (sic) Jeremiah Wright to be their moral compass, intervene in politics and lobby for changes, but if a white person sends a pastor out to make an appeal, we are treated to a load of horse manure about a "separation of church and state." That's a privilege???

Here is what I have a problem with:

The first colonists hit the shores at Plymouth Rock in 1620. There are 102 passengers and in the first winter, half of those would be dead due to starvation and / or disease. More and more colonists would come to carve out their niche in the New World, never even trying to live off their fellow man, but building their own wealth by the sweat of their brow. Today, when white people do try and revert back to those days and become masters of their own destiny, the government pursues them and won't leave them alone. So, we wind up listening to how bad blacks have had it, blah, blah, blah. If it were that bad, they would do what those brave people on the Mayflower did and remove themselves from the situation and build their own version of the American dream.

But, the blacks would rather wail about slavery when most of them aren't within four generations of that institution. Furthermore, over 97 percent of the Americans in that time period NEVER owned a slave. If you follow the money, the rich who are financing the war against America in favor of blacks, it's the same money that was used to build the empires of the slave owners. Blacks are still slaves, but now by choice. Their master cracks the whip, the slaves chant the mantra that being white is evil. Blacks can make all the speeches they like; have cute little Tweets, but what they cannot do, is build their own communities among their own and become self reliant. They need the white people to swab out their throat so the black man won't choke on his own spit. Hand America over to these whiners and inside of six months the entire country would look like Chicago.

In the context of your response, how do you explain a guy born into millions, given millions, who's bankrupted every business he's owned and scammed millions of investors out of billions of dollars but still can't afford a decent toupe?

Black people were gaining power and wealth hand over fist up into the 1960s. Some think what happened next was an intentional effort to destroy that growth because desperate people are easier to control than powerful people. The welfare state radically expanded, destroying the black family. One could become licensed in a trade at every NYC public school up until 1970. After, the push was on to put people through college. So now, rather than be a plumber worth $1 million, you can be an unemployable college grad with a BA in under water basket weaving with $200K in student loan debt. The Government is helping black people to death.

The remained in poverty at all high time highs by the mid 1960s.

The War on Poverty, however, cut black poverty in half by the 1970s.
