A guy I went to high school with is a camera man for CBS in New York - he unfriended me because I'm a racist, and I'm a racist because I asked him why it's OK to have a Black Miss America, BET, NAACP, and no white equivalent. I'm seeing this sort of thing happening all over the place, and I'm not even in America. In my 50 odd years, I've only seen this kind of 'shunning' from cults and fundamentalists.

I think terrorists kill more folks than those with legally purchased and registered firearms. I think the ingredients for bomb making should be regulated, banned or some licenses issued with background checks. I actually believe this should be done with anything that can be considered a weapon. We must have a license to drive a car and that requires education, supervised practice, and a written and driving test performed at the department which holds authority over issuing licenses. There is a fee for a new license every so many years, as well.

I would provide proof of my statements on driving, but I think I don't need to do that because there is likely some similar procedures wherever you are from.

I see you ran from the reality that white is not a native american. What a shcoker you ran from the actual thing in the article I was disputing.

 

The problem with the above is there are no statistics on how many of those firearms were illegally in the hands of the shooter. That's huge! No real debate points can be made on any specifics of gun control because of that. We tend to, "throw the baby out with the bath water".

This report below does not show the proper statistics, either. I can't find them. It probably has something to do with racial and religious profiling. I understand that on the macro level. I disagree with it at the micro level. I think we need to know who these individuals are and whatever they are about to help make quality laws that reduce liberties by the smallest amount necessary.

Honestly, I do not know how to do that.
