Interesting article from the economist. Controversial because it defies the narrative. Imagine how much the media would spread the study if blacks and Hispanics were shown to be harder working than whites? Instead, just the opposite was found. Self reporting methodology seems kind of iffy to me as numerous diet studies have shown. That doesn't mean the study isn't on to something, but I think a more rigorous study would concentrate just on jobs that have a measured production and based on observation, rather than self reporting.
Whites are certainly industrious (see the work of our hands, over history), but I would think NE Asians probably work harder.
Full of poop. I have worked with Black LEOs that put me to shame. I preferred Black partners because they were better Police Officers, and I had a better tour of duty with Black Officers, the jokes were funny, good times. White people can be lazy as heck. So I call Shenanigans on that stupid study. Black people work harder than most white folks.
