Whites, Not Blacks, Are the Most Discriminated Against Group in America Today

I'm not going to claim that blacks can't be racist or that in some cases people of color get favorable treatment...

But the premise of this thread is that whites are discriminated against MORE than any other group and that is flat out stupidly wrong.

 

But we’re past the 60s. Well past. That time is never returning and no current situation is anywhere close to the pre-civil rights era.

And of course you’re correct about sports which is why I mentioned it. Just like white guys went into programming and tech more than anyone else historically and still do. Yet, because there isn’t enough of everyone else now, it’s white guys that are the bad ones for simply doing what they love and enjoy? There is now a concerted effort to make it more difficult for white males to succeed. You see the double standard?

Theranos was a microcosm of the willingness to push a female tech leader far further ahead than she ever deserved....to attempt to prove a point. Until it all came crashing down once she was revealed as a total fraud. That’s happening in smaller doses all over the industry and anyone who speaks up or simply cites examples of it is demonized. The guy at Google is another perfect example of bringing info to light when they actually asked for it. Then when they got it he was pegged as a misogynistic female hating dbag when it’s the furthest from the truth.

 

Nice rant. Sorry, but white people are not being discriminated against. I already showed there are plenty of groups that are white only and no one is screaming racism about these groups. Not one person in this thread can show how they are being discriminated against...yet we're supposed to believe discrimination towards whites is so rampant.

 

Maybe not and things have improved significantly, but that doesn't mean racism, discrimination, prejudice and the like all just went away forever. The KKK still exists, neo-Nazis are still a thing, people still worship the Confederacy, some folks think having a black president was a mistake and so on.

I don't know who's telling you that white guys getting into programming is a bad thing and their fault anymore than blacks who like sports is their fault, though those being the rule for each side isn't an absolute.

 

And all those people you mentioned are fringe crazies with no power and and no influence, representing a fraction of no one. Just because the MSM tries to make them a bigger deal due to bias and political pandering doesn't change that they're insignificant specs. BLM and Antifa have cause far more damage since their entrance in the fray.

The MSM is telling us about the diversity issues=) C'mon, you can't be this out of touch with what's going on and have NO IDEA about the diversity "problem" in tech? White males are the root cause since they control the industry and that apparently needs to change. Please do a Google if this is news to you=) No outrage over elementary education needing more diversity, considering its been dominated by women for decades upon decades. Another double standard. And you're right again, its NO ONE's fault when an industry has too many of X...UNLESS its white males. Thats the double standard.

This diversity problem I keep reading about, is it a problem solely because people think too many white guys are in the field or because no one else is being represented in it and there are clearly other qualified people who are programmers that aren't white?

OK, whatever, use the thread title to try to correct your claim. Your tunnel vision is expected, because leftists and other white people haters never want to compare Western societies to the rest of the world (i.e. reality), but instead compare it to some fantasy Utopia, so that they can look at the people who are doing better than anyone ever has and tell them that they suck.
