Racism is all the left has. If they can race bait most black people into believing them that EVERY TRUMP SUPPORTER IS RACIST, then they are still strong with black support. Its very simple and the left, to their credit, is actually very good at doing this.

Its a rare combination of long term and short term circumstances that converged.
1. Its the modern pundit driven partisan news media that was created when cable divided the both the profits and structure of television news from being a loss leader network product, structured to gain credibility and viewer loyalty to a reality show dynamic where ratings are driven by melodrama and conflict.
2. the anonymity and generational division inherent in the internet and social media world created a circumstance where the social institutions that had taught and reinforced some basic ground-rules for political and civil discourse were undermined. Nobody has to be polite. Nobody has to watch their mouth, and nobody has to give a crap whether they are insulting, belittling, remotely accurate because nobody ever feels embarrassed or ashamed when their political rhetoric 'goes too far'. Our political expression and education is now funneled away from actual interpersonal interaction that humanizes the impact. Its now a sport where hitting below the belt and outright lying has absolutely no consequence that anyone can discern, let alone feel.
3. The political institutions ie the major parties, the senority based system in the legislative branch, that used to enforce some discipline on extremism in discourse have lost their power because they no longer control the messaging or the money access points. A much smaller share of money, power and visibility flows downward for the the legislative leadership, or the Democratic and Republican parties etc. Every incentive in politics works to divide and none of them work to unify now. That impacts the capacity of government to respond to political pressures with actual action. Compromise becomes unattainable and unworkable in the toxic sea The bills don't get passed and signed that can actually accomplish the intended goals. .
4. Foreign and domestic radicalized adversaries of our country, figured out how to expose and exploit all of the above and turned what had been our greatest strengths in free speech, cultural diversity and a marketplace approach to politics into our greatest weaknesses and waited for the perfect storm.

Then came the reality show star with no principles, no substance, no inner moral core, and a bully's simplistic understanding power and attention. It was time to feed and orchestrate a gang war.

 

There are numerous nonsense narratives floating around w/r to the civil unrest. The above is one of them .. China has nothing to do with it.

Bad Law is the root cause of the problem. This puts far too many citizens an adversarial and confrontational position w/r to the Police who - being errand boys for the state - must enforce these bad laws .. coupled with power going to the head of these people.

It the stroke of a pen we could turn 100 million "Criminals" in this nation into law abiding citizens .

Yeah and how old are you? Division is an illusion created, promoted and perpetuated by the left. How many boomers have you witnessed attacking America. How many boomers have you witnessed rioting, burning and looting? How many boomers have killed LEOs? How many boomers have you witnessed damning religion? How many boomers do you know?

 

the Democrats have tried to ruin this country. Look at what they have done since Trump won the election. They have put this country in turmoil with their “impeachment”, and riots and of course using scare tactics to try to keep Blacks in line by using the term “racism” at every turn, when they are the racists. Then they have put Americans through hell with all their drama.Then there’s Pelosi and her crusade against helping the American people. Democrats don’t want to help Republicans, but they certainly aren’t helping Democrats either. How about helping AMERICANS? There is more to us than our political affiliation, but the Dems don’t see it because all they want is to be in charge and have power and punish anyone who doesn’t see things their way. They have become millionaires by being politicians. Then they want to dictate what’s “best” for us so they can become richer? They’re nothing but phonies. They prove every day just how low they can go...

 

Sooooooooo....The Democrats have socialism on the agenda. Do you really want to live under a socialist government? It doesn’t work...

When you convince people that their disappointments in life are a result of their genitals, skin color, or sexual orientation, then there's no solution to their problems except to give them free stuff, because, there's no evil group responsible for their naturally occurring conditions.
