Either you support it, or it's your hometown's team or both, what is your team? I don't know if English Football is as religious for my team as it is 'Up North', but being it plays around the corner from me... My 'team' is Crystal Palace F.C It's THE ONLY TEAM in the league to have a mascot and cheerleaders. Their nickname always has been The Eagles. Their owned by the same guy who owns The Philadelphia Eagles, they won a Superbowl Last Year and I've been to Philadelphia twice, so, that works out great for me having that team owner also own my Eagles. The mascot, I learned, last week, is an American bald Eagle... Learning that it was that eagle, was a bonus lol, because I assumed it was 'some other eagle'. They play at Selhurst Park, SE25, I was raised in that postal code. Notable fans include Captain Sensible of The Damned fame. Believe it or not, that presenter, is called Lloyd Grossman, and he's an American with a thick American accent that's from New England.. I now think Lloyd Grossman's from the same town as the voice actor who voiced that smart gremlin from Gremlins 2 ;
My sports teams are: NFL: Patriots. Why? I'm from the town they play in and grew up a 2 miles up the road. Parents are from Boston which is about 45 minutes from there so we're obviously Boston fans NBA: Celtics as per mentioned above Hockey: This is interesting. I'm not a big team fan in hockey, I'm a player fan. I love watching OV8, Crosby, Staal brothers...etc. I'm just a big fan of people's talent in hockey. I'll watch any hockey game and enjoy it. Mostly I root for the under dogs. Soccer: I have no idea. Never watched a full soccer game. Just not my cup of tea.
