10 people can get covid and 9 will probably come out alright. 10 babies go into planned parenthood with their mothers and 0 come out,

    Wow. Two lies, two sentences.

Feel free to completely ignore this and pretend it's dumb. I love obedient people.

The moment he tried to restrict travel he became a "racist".

His restriction seemed to have nothing to do with the virus and everything to do with a hatred of dark skinned people.

Note he did NOT restrict travel from Europe where the virus was raging until it was far too late and then he let THIS happen

I had every symptom of it in early March. A hacking cough for five weeks but was never tested. I suspect that I got it but it was more irritating than debilitating.

Had he banned ALL travel, nobody could have played the racism card. He really should have. Japan was smart by not letting the Diamond Princess disembark. What did Japan know that nobody else knew? Why just ban China traffic when Japan was saying, "No, not here.... this **** is bad!!!"

We had it pretty bad, in March. Worse than the flu; similar to pneumonia. It took us two months to feel free of it. Even still, we're getting sick more frequently, now. Pre COVID, My husband was sick twice while we've been together, 14 years. He's been sick four times since (March). We're not "concerned, " but do wonder if this this took a bit of our immune system with it.

I’m sorry to hear that. My view is that if you are exposed to this your body should be better prepared to deal with a more severe strain should it come along. Amsterdam was more packed with tourists than I had ever seen it just before the news started coming out about Italy. And I was hanging out with them and many were coughing but I didn’t think much of it. Then I got a sore throat that quickly went straight into my lungs and 5 weeks of a hacking cough. Right around this time an order to shut every restaurant and bar came out and the city went from out of control busy to a ghost town literally within hours. Retail remained open. It was creepy.

Nope, looking at small business and the future we are leaving our kids. You and your ilk are willing to absolutely sacrifice their future rather than quarantine those whom are at the highest risk which is NOT the majority of the working class.

The assumption has been that the virus which kills so very few is more important than the economy or even just jobs. The assumption has been that we can have a good economy any time we want it. That assumption is being proven wrong and sadly it will be learned the hard way.

And they will blame Trump when it's they who are refusing the reality of their actions!

So you want to quarantine anyone over a certain age or with any kind of health issue...relegate them to a life of isolation and loneliness in the mistaken belief that the economy can withstand this?

    Oh...

That was me and a coworker around January, he even got a chest xray because his cough kept lingering. Only took me a few days to recover but never missed work.

I keep forgetting to ask my dr. To add the antibody test to my bloodwork coming up

Yes the tag line will be that Trump didn’t do enough to stop the virus and that’s why jobs are gone. There will be a total disconnect that governments shut down too many businesses that could not afford to lose revenue for months. People might buy this for a little bit but by midterms they won’t care anymore and Dems will be in their targets.

I'm hoping your response is rhetorical as no is suggesting a life of isolation. Protecting those that fall into the high risk should be happening today and my only additional to this is to add another level of protection by testing staff daily (expedited testing), isolate those patients who do test positive while those who are not at risk go back to work. The economy can withstand it if we allow it to operate. Shutting everything down and destroying small businesses will be felt for decades!

Millions of jobs are likely gone forever. The economy can recover if left alone but as you say what was destroyed in a few months will take decades to fix especially in the face of big tax increases that a Biden administration and a Democratic Congress are likely to impose.

That;s accomplished by creating an environment where the virus isn't running rampant.

Locking away everyone of a certain age or health condition indefinitely will NOT do that

Are we not locking them down right now? Can you go into a retirement home?

I'm only advocating letting working people that are at extremely low risk go back to work as you all are literally KILLING PEOPLE with this crap!

Locking down nations is doing FAR worse.. But that is okay, right. This doesn't impact you? Yeah, black lives matter my a$$!

I still laud Sweden. Their man must have been absent from Davos when this was planned.

They have remained above the fray, and no surprise they were correct to do so. No drama, no anxiety like we have here.

Yes it is depriving people of their livelihoods risking starvation and even interfering with vaccination efforts.

The truth is that the west is willing to risk the lives of many millions in the vain hope that maybe just maybe they won’t get sick from this minor virus.

Just a bunch of brown people we don’t know, right?

This kind of racism is ok cause we’re scared and so...you know how it is...so shut up. It’s not the same so shut up some more.

If it were not so tragic it would be hilarious..
