Israel has made excessive use of force. Israel has more international or western support and from that point of view are the Palestinians singled out. I am not advocating for any side at all. But history evidences there is US support in terms of arms and financial support for the Israelis. It was their own act to fortify the Israeli territory in the Middle East. Was Jerusalem their home from time immemorial just on the ground that mythologically it belonged to them? Is there a scientific or archaeological basis for this claim.

This is what I want to discuss. I do not want to raise any prejudices or preoccupations with either countries since both Israelis and Palestinians are suffering. Are there some political fault lines with the earlier US initiative to establish or reestablish the Israeli establishment? Could there be other options foresing all that is happening now in the Middle East.

I want to learn more and more about the historicity about it so that I can have a clear opinion about the Israeli and Palestinian issue as what I know about what is going on there come from what I learned from some of the US and British News medias and I have heard most of them are the mouthpieces of the US and UK government.

You've missed a couple of minor points...

-Israel is outnumbered 75 to 1 against just Arabs (never mind hostile non-Arab Muslims like Iranians etc)
-Israel is tiny, it occupies 0.15% of the regional land, the Arabs has 99.85%
-Israel is surrounded by 20 countries rejecting Israel's right to exist
-The Arab/Muslim world is committed to wiping Israel off the map, not the other way around
-Israel accepted the partition in 1948, the Arab world did not and started a war to drive the Jews into the sea
-Israel accepted UN 242 land for peace resolution in 1967, the Arab world responded with "no peace, no recognition and no negotiations with Israel"
-Israel accepted the Clinton peace plan, Arafat walked out without a counter-offer and started intifada

Nobody can deny the established pattern is that the Palestinians (Hamas) provokes, and Israel responds to it.

There is plenty of archeological evidence to support the claim that jews have continuously inhabited the land for the past few thousand years.

There is plenty of archeological evidence to support the claim that arabs have continuously inhabited the land for the past couple of thousand years.

Neither side is entirely right and neither side is entirely wrong.

HOWEVER, while many view this as "merely" a conflict over land, its really about religion. If one looks at the orthodoxy of Judaism, Islam and Christianity its pretty clear why the "true believers" on all sides have created such a clustermuck.

Funny how in the west such religious convictions are almost completely out of the spotlight, and yet many actions taken by them seem like attempts to create the conditions for the end of days. Hallelujah, and pass the ammunition.

"Who is the culprit Israel or Palestine?".....faith...faith is the culprit. Believing insane stuff from an omniscient real broker, is the problem, and faith is what gets people to believe the insane teachings of said Realtor. Religion poisons everything, a great man once said.

Yes, THEY (plural). They even like setting 13 year old Arab children alight.

What sort of fool immigrates to an Arab country and systematically abuses them and takes their land? Are you pleading that Israelis are "victims".

Actually, half of Jews are from or descended from jews who immigrated FROM arab countries and most Israeli jews were born in Israel.

There never was an Arab country in Palestine. An ancient Hebrew state did exist on that land, never an Arab one.

What are they supposed to do? Let their country turn into Chicago 2.0?

No they don't. The United States and a few islands in the pacific are pretty much the only countries that side with Israel.

Palestine was never a country, not after a Jewish state in that land was destroyed and Jews were expelled and yes Jews were a minority, therefore the creation of one tiny Jewish majority state where no state had existed before to exist alongside 23 large Arab only states was supported by the entire civilized world.

By the birth of Christ most Jews lived outside of Palestine. There were large Jewish communities in Rome, Damascus, Alexandria, Persia, Anatolia and all around the Med.

No... its quite true. Palestine and Jerusalem in particular is poor in resources like water and fertile soil.

    Do your own research...

Wrong. Might want to examine the record of other countries again.

But feel free to have the wrong impression of Israeli international support.
Many countries support Israel's continued existence and prosperity, but can disagree with some of its actions and policies.
Do you not criticize your friends and family when you think they are doing something wrong?
