    Welcome to the USA.

Some countries recognize that Holodomor was a genocide and some do not. Canada does recognize Holodomor as a Stalin orchestrated genocide while the US does not.
Meanwhile it is not certain that the USSR's victory over Germany would have saved more Jewish lives as Stalin's Jews in his NKVD were equally ruthless toward killing other Jews (1), (2)

Additionally, some historians point out that the Polish people killed more Jews than the Germans(3)

I suspect that someday after enough time passes we'll get an objective rendering of history above the one currently related by the victors.

    (1) "Solzhenitsyn breaks last taboo of the revolution"
    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2003/jan/25/russia.books

EXCERPT "In his latest book Solzhenitsyn, 84, deals with one of the last taboos of the communist revolution: that Jews were as much perpetrators of the repression as its victims."CONTINUED

    (2) "DECEMBER 20: JEWS AND THE SECRET POLICE"
    http://jewishcurrents.org/december-20-the-secret-police/

EXCERPT "Cheka, the first incarnation of the Soviet secret police (NKVD), was established on this date in 1917. Many Jews played leading roles in the secret police, and even more fell victim to it. “About 40 percent of high-ranking NKVD officers had Jewish nationality recorded in their identity documents,” writes Yale University professor Timothy Snyder in Bloodlands: Europe Between Hitler and Stalin, “as did more than half of the NKVD generals. . . . The Great Terror could be, and by many would be, blamed on the Jews.”CONTINUED

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...oles-killed-more-jews-than-germans-during-war

EXCERPT "Last month, German newspaper Die Welt ran an article by the Polish-born Princeton University professor Jan T Gross in which he sought to explain Poland’s wariness of accepting Syrian migrants streaming into Europe by referring to anti-Semitism during the war.

“The Poles, for example, were indeed rightfully proud of their society’s resistance against the Nazis, but in fact did kill more Jews than Germans during the war,” wrote the 68-year-old Jewish historian."CONTINUED

First, by the time ww2 rolled around Stalin had purged all the old bolsheviks of jewish heritage from the party and from positions of power within his regime. OTOH, their role in the revolution is unquestionable.

Second, according to german records over 16,000 germans were killed in the invasion of poland with another 33,000 wounded. There are confirmed reports of polish civilians killing up to 1600 jews. There is absolutely NO EVIDENCE to support this clowns idiot claim that poles killed more jews than they did germans.

    RE:
You may be right but the "clown" is a Jewish, Princeton historian, there were Poles serving in Germany's military, and rampant anti Jewish sentiment throughout Poland. Why would he make such a self destructive claim? What could be his motive for making what could be a career ending assessment?

    Time will tell.

He has ZERO evidence to support the claim. His jewishness does not protect him from his clownishness.

Career ending assessment? I don't know, a little controversy does wonders for an academic career in its twilight.

Marxist ideology killed 100 Million people, less than that of Hitler. Also, you do know that Hitler was a socialist right?

Where do you people get these fantastic numbers such as:

"Hitler is responsible for deaths of over 20 Million civilians"

"Marxist ideology killed 100 Million people, less than that of Hitler."

Is this the sort of stuff that is being taught in school today?

According to intercepted German radio communications, most of the deaths in the German camps were a result of typhus & related diseases due to a shortage of medical supplies & food especially toward the end of the war.

“THE HOLOCAUST NARRATIVE” by Nicholas Kollerstrom
    https://www.scribd.com/document/2827...t-Myth-Reality

EXCERPT “In 1941, British Intelligence analysts cracked the German “Enigma” code. This undermined the German war effort—but also threw new light on day-by-day events in the Nazi concentration camp system. Between January 1942 and January 1943, encrypted radio communi-cations between those camps and the Berlin headquarters were intercepted and decrypted.

Oddly enough, historians have largely ignored the information furnished in these intercepts relating to “arrivals,” “departures,” recorded deaths and other events at these camps. The only reasonable explanation is that the intercepted data contra-dicts, even refutes, the orthodox “Holocaust” narrative.

The information does not expose a program of mass murder and racial genocide. Quite the opposite: it reveals that the Germans were determined, desperate even, to reduce the death rate in their work camps, which was caused by catastrophic typhus epidemics.”CONTINUED

Meanwhile, at Bergen-Belsen, 14,000 inmates died of typhus AFTER being liberated by the British. Should we add that to Churchill's already significant tally?

That is a tremendous exaggeration. I would guess the true number is about 10 Million -- terrible number but over much of the World over 70 years.

Evil? I thought morality was relative. I learned that right here.

Therefore there's no such thing as evil.

We will never know the face of true evil. It always exists in the background, hidden under layers subterfuge and moral respectability.

That's why I thought that the phrase "....most malevolent person who ever lived" would be easier to discuss

I see no significant difference between evil and malevolent. I suppose we use malevolent to describe discrete acts, and evil to describe a general trait. But neither would make sense without a concept of right and wrong.

Lol the evilness of the bible god came to my mind while reading the king James bible as a ten years old over the flooding of the world also.

But then I would assume this thread deal with real beings not a made up god so your claim that his posting had no merit on this thread seem correct to me.

Hitler was no "sweetie", but the body-count isn't even close. The official "count" is harder to tally on the German side because eventually Nazi Germany didn't consider Jewish people to be citizens of their Third Reich. Stalin murdered a lot more people who were actual citizens of the Soviet Union -- especially before World War II broke out officially, but both of them were among the more horrible, murderous people who ever lived....

Georgie Junior Bush is so evil that he couldn't even pardon that poor frustrated Iraki for throwing his shoes. If that B'Stard had spoken so callously about slaughtering my countrymen (on a lie) I'd have tossed in an anvil.

Would you please provide a source for your numbers.
My original question has to do with how people get such fantastic numbers and do they realize how difficult it is to dispose of even 1 million people, hide the remains etc

So, slavery is worse than murder? I do not agree with your priorities. Anyways slavery is as old as humanity. And it still lives in the parts of the world which sold them to dutch slave traders. We stopped it, but the sellers of slaves didn't. So blame them, unless you just hate white people, you know, racism.
In so far as the most evil ever, well, too hard to choose. Their murdering was only limited by the population they had access to. But it also took others who allowed this to go on. I mean, Stalin, Mao, Hitler, could have been taken down by their people. But were not. Why? Because they were good russians, good chinese and good germans. Just like our good americans who allow our murdering in perpetual war for perpetual peace. So look in the mirror you war mongers. I looked once, and didn't like what I saw and changed my opinion of the US and her People. I don't much like these murderous americans, and prefer earlier generations of us. And how do I wish Hell actually existed, so some sort of cosmic justice prevailed.

So, we should be on that list, not any of our presidents, but ourselves as a population. We never lose sleep over even what our sanctions on Iraq killed, in children. And we wanta talk about other evil men? LOL Give me a break. Hypocrisy.

Also consider that "Marxists" such as Hitler and Stalin were Christians - Christianity has long been humanity's greatest killer, sad to say.

More responsible would be the likes of Cheney, Wolfawitz, Crystal, and the neocons in congress, including hillary. Baby Bush was just a puppet, an old money elite, that could be used by the neocons. And was used. But the People hold a huge responsibility too. And while the clever propaganda campaign via MSM fooled americans so consent could be manufactured, we didn't learn a damned thing from this ruse. We have amnesia. For MSM and our neocon gov't can do the same ruse anytime they feel like it, due to GOOD AMERICANS. I just refuse to be one of these good germans, uh, I mean good americans. I just cannot seem to develop amnesia. So you fool me, and I never forget what you did. But you will not fool me twice, so easily. Not so with most americans.

    You're right, of course.

I wouldn't say amnesia. Americans are only ever given two choices. Everything is in twos. Democrat or Republican. With us or against us. Love it or leave it. Americans have no idea that life and the world offer unlimited choices because they've been bred to think in twos and know no better. You can tell them but they won't believe you. It's too complicated for them. The worst part of is that the two choices have adjectives attached: The choice is right or wrong. Good or bad. Righteous or evil. This means that if you recognise something as "bad" the other must be "good". And vise versa. There is no neutral or third choice either. If you do not "believe" in something then you certainly must "disbelieve" it, according to the American way of thinking. Such a mentality leaves them vulnerable to all sorts of misinformation and disinformation. They just cannot see through any subject. So, amnesia? Not as I see it. The next choice needs to be made and what went before has nothing to with the here and now. They are handicapped for all intents and purposes. Do I over-simplify it do you think?

No, not over simplified, for some times things are relatively simple and not at all that complex. I agree with you, and it is quite thoughtful what you wrote. And certainly such a mentality leaves these minds vulnerable to all sorts of misinfo and disinfo. And as I heard a physicist who teaches at some University say recently, he is alarmed by students who no longer seem able to think deeply about a problem, for long periods of time in order to see it more clearly and perhaps come up with a solution. Our thinking seems so superficial and shallow, and too apt to move into tribalistic thinking and what they entails, which is really hardly any thinking at all. It insures the mind remains lazy, and is used to parrot what others say, with little thought involved.
