You keep talking about AR-15’s. Who is walking down the street carrying an AR-15? In my 35 years on this planet, I have never seen this. I'm old and never have seen anyone walking down the street with an AR. I have recently realized that, on the left, at least in the leadership rank, no one wanted to "defund" the police. They wanted to REPLACE the police. With their own gestapo, who will go after just their political adversaries. And this is, in large part, accomplished, as decent cops are quitting and retiring in droves, and voila...now they want to refund them! Refund their replacements, of course, as we won't get the original ones back.
Well thought out and sensible. Here in Texas we have a new law that stipulates that ANY gun owner can carry "open" or "concealed" almost anywhere without any registration, permit or anything like that. I have yet to see anyone strolling around with an AR.
Why don’t other countries have these issues - I know if that happened here the officers involved would be tossed out so fast their hair would catch fire on the way out the door!!
Can you imagine a police force made up of psychologists and social workers calling in a SWAT Team? They'd have "special weapons" like couches, personality tests, and tranquilizers..

Did you fail geography an d history as well? The US is not other countries, countries that people risk their lives to get out of and come to the US. Think about that for a while.
