According to the bible Eva is the first woman created by God. But there are other mythos, that say that Lilith was the first woman, created equal to man. But this myth was changed because it would leave the woman equal to the man and not inferior as it is protrayed in the bible. And the later myths mention Lilith as a Demon.
I don't believe there is a god, they've never proved it to me. An eye for an eye, is that forgiveness? Adam and Eve is fallacy.
Since mankind evolved from an ape like creature that existed between 6-8 million years ago, this question is impossible to answer. However, there is Mitochondrial Eve: Mitochondrial Eve is generally estimated to have lived around 200,000 years ago...since human evolved from an ape like creature from millions ago, obviously she was NOT the FIRST woman in the linage of human ancestor.
According to Orthadox Jewish creationism the earth was created 3770 BC so it is less than 6000 years old.
It's not impossible to answer if you read Kilgram's opening post. The context is mythology, NOT science. And in that context, it's quite an interesting question that I hope some of the more reasonable posters of the believing segment will take up.
How about the facts? Women was here before man. ie... not a man ever to walk that didnt come from a women.
Well, if there is no scientific data to validate that prediction, then I don't see why anybody would care to agree with it. Our ice core record goes back hundreds of thousands of years and has been used in both sides of the global warming debate to see how earth's temperature was like in the past. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_core
Earth is 6000 years old, 10 000 is an atheist number to misguide us all. Scientists are satanic I am with you my brother.
How do you know that 'god' isnt the 'devil' and is fooling ya. Maybe the 'devil' is trying to show you the truth, but 'god' is the deceiver.
http://www.islamicmiracles.net/tomb_eve.htm According to Arab tradition, Eve, the mother of all mankind, is buried near Jeddah, along the Red Sea. This would be difficult to prove, as there is no evidence outside the bible that there was a woman called Eve. The site has been revered for such a long time that its origin is shrouded in legend and mystery. The tradition pre-dates Mohammed by many centuries. It seems Adam and Eve lived the last part of their lives separated, and Adam ended up in Ceylon, where the faithful can find his tomb. Adam had something to do with the erection of the shrine at Mecca, then he left for other parts of the world. Eve came here to Jeddah, the port for pilgrims heading to Mecca, 38 miles away to the east. She was buried about a mile north of town. The tomb is of an unusual shape, being almost 400 feet long and only ten feet wide. The common legend has it that Eve was one hundred and eighteen feet tall. The proportions of the burial tomb causes problems unless Eve was exceedingly thin. In any case, there is a small whitewashed shrine at each end of the site, with a third small shrine in the center. The central shrine is also whitewashed, and the faithful have penciled in their names. The thousands of names extend as high as a man can reach and covers the entire outer surface. This tomb is readily accessible to the Muslims. The few Christians living in Jeddah are, for all practical purposes, confined to their neighborhood during the pilgrimage season [all summer]. While there is no restriction against a Christian entering the temenos of Eves Tomb, it certainly is not encouraged.
