Maybe we can all get better and cheeper plumbing if we impose single payer reimbursement upon plumbers too.

And put the state in charge of how many plumbers there are.

What could go wrong with that plan?

Medicare is managed by CMS, a government sub agency of HHS. Private insurers pay out some Medicare supplemental benefits, but under strict and unalterable rules from CMS, other than in a few instances insurers can pay larger benefits than Medicare would.

    No you don't.
Take less vacations. Buy less iphones. Go to less sporting events. Eat out less. Give up booze and smokes. Give up expensive clothing and shoes.
    Buy your own crap

Standard insurance, I guess means covers things like office visits? Perhaps we need to clarify terminology.

Regular insurance is coverage for well care, plus pharmaceutical, plus major medical, with a 'standard' deductible. (co insurance and co pays apply)
High Deductible insurance is coverage for well care, plus pharmaceutical, plus major medical, after a higher than normal deductible is applied. Co-insurance and copays may apply.
Catastrophic is interchangeable with the term Major Medical policy, and has no coverage for well care, but will cover major medical, pharmaceutical in relation to the Major medical, and ongoing active care for the event. May or may not include extended check ups in relation to the event or condition.

A person who takes catastrophic coverage normally will fund a HSA or separate personal savings account (non-HSA specified) for those additional expenses. Most Catastrophic policies qualify for the continuous coverage requirement, so technically, there is no pre-existing exclusion that would apply.

"Pay me, leave, or we put you in a cage."

    Sounds sociopathic to me.

It was a suggestion. Yes, expanded Medicare is managed by private insurers, I just do not see where is a theft and corruption can occur if Medicare ban is abolished.

    Are you sure about that?

I can't get on board with your "pay me, leave, or we put you in a cage" plan. It just sounds too sociopathic for me.

Which individuals have the right to say, "Agree either pay me, leave, or I put you in a cage?"

Neither you nor I have any such right. These must be some very special individuals. How did they get rights that the rest of us don't have.

No you haven't, but your cognitive dissonance is duly noted.

Once you've learned to critically think and proper argumentation methods, then maybe you can keep up with me. Until then, I'll enjoy watching @Longshot continue to shred your arguments as you attempt to dodge and deflect his. He has much more patience with folks that aren't as forthright and honest than I do.
