That's Genius Gillum wanted to do here in Fl. His genius plan? Raise corporate taxes 40%. What could possibly go wrong?

    Totally irrelevant.

    This is an ideological battle.

Jesus would want to see Medicare for ALL, and that's just TOTALLY unacceptable.

    So you & Jesus agree?

    Plus savings?

    Totally unconstitutional.

Even as a 2nd Amendment type, I have to agree it's an issue.

What people don't understand is that even if Medicare for all would raise taxes it would still net save Americans as a whole trillions of dollars as they would no longer have to pay private co-pays, deductibles, or any other medical costs as it would all be covered and financed through taxation. So Americans would net save money. Don't just take it from me, take it from the Koch funded Mercatus study and other study's which found even more savings.

Please watch from 9:18 forward for insight on why universal healthcare is better.

Sorry not fear mongering reality, when the government fixes prices you always get shortages in the system and a black market.

It is not more efficient the cost comes in availabilty. Most of these studies don't include bureaucracy cost. Most of the excess costs in America come from excessive bureaucracy and defensive medicine.

But, but, you just said it is currently 10,000 per individual, then in the next breath said it's $380 a month or $4560 per person. The 4560 is a bad number for private insurance.

Simply because your private health care plans are not better for all, only for some who don't have to pay for it out of pocket.
My thought is to raise payroll taxes a small amount, include the amount already paid by employers, and reduce the tax reduction for the wealthy and corporations that were not needed and where massive write-offs are still in place. Medicare is a great plan and is already in place. Let's use it.

Do you think there is no bureaucracy in private health?

Tell me - are you still getting itemised bills? WE don't need that so that is one layer of bureaucracy gone right there

But.....you understand the administrative costs for private healthcare companies exceeds that of Medicare/caid, right? It's the reason the ACA required a minimum of 80% of paid premiums go to medical care instead of CEO's compensation.

Here's a few things you should read (but you won't).

I was correct. You do not want single payer or socialized medicine. You want government health care. Thanks for proving it beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Medicade for all would be the purest definition.

But short of that any program from single payer on down that is set up through legislation and administered by government bureaucracy.
