Yes, one way. And they contain MONEY.

Wait and see what happens when those envelopes don't contain money, AND they have to be mailed back.

you can vote by mail in ALL 50 states, and 28 of them dont even require a reason.

everyone should request a Absentee Ballot!!!

I don't want one. Why do you care if people vote in person or by mail?

I want to push a button and see the notification in real time that my vote has been counted. Plus I kinda like the atmosphere of the poliing station, greeting the officers and thanking them for their service to their face.

I don't understand why in person voting wouldn't be the preferred option. Unless you don't really care that much about your vote.

I got a question. Suppose you buy a winning lottery ticket. It's worth 728 million dollars.

Are you going to mail it in?

its not convenient to wait on a ****ing line for 3 hours to vote.

lots of Republican states have significantly reduced the number of polling stations, forcing thousands of voters to often wait on line for hours in order to enjoy their rights.

better to just let folks vote from home

Since the Supreme Court struck down parts of the Voting Rights Act, Republican states have closed thousands of polling stations.

    https://www.azcentral.com/story/new...s-2013-voting-rights-act-decision/2288261001/

    Texas lost 750
    Arizona lost 320.
    Goergia lost 214.
    Louisiana lost 126.
    Mississippi lost 96.
    Alabama lost 72.
    North Carolina lost 29.
    South Carolina lost 18.

one has to ask, why the obsession with closing polling stations? does the right and ability to vote not matter??

this is why we need nationwide mail voting option, for anyone who wants it.

I didn't ask you any of that. I asked if you'd mail in a winning lottery ticket.

Well, actually, I asked the board. I am aware of your utter confidence in the reliability and efficiency of the postal service. It is misplaced.

    So, about that lotto ticket?

1,200 voting stations closed in the USA by Republicans.

forcing tens of thousands of citizens to wait on line for hours, in order to choose their leaders.

this is why we need voting by mail for ALL.

3 hours? Where do you live? Tajikistan?

I have been voting for 45 years and never stood in a line for 3 hours ... 30 minutes once, I think. Usually it's 3 minutes. But my convenience is not as important as the security of my vote anyway.

LOL, we don't "need" it. You are fetishizing the postal service. Before it's over with you'll be requiring that people vote by mail.

Just drive down there. You'll survive.

people have to wait in line for hours all the time this is a common problem with voting. You act like you've never heard about this before. But nobody is buying it.

there are stories on the internet from every state in the Union about people having to wait for hours to vote.

It's a common problem and you know it

Nobody should have to wait more than an hour to vote for their leaders. It's a threat to democracy, as many folks will just go home

Do you have any rational questions?

Oregon has been voting by mail for about 33 years with no big problems. Careful confirmation and oversight is in place and scrupulously followed. And believe me, the state Republicans have worked very hard to find reasons to end the system and still it continues. We all welcome the Republican's honest and fair in-depth investigations with each election as it keeps the system honest.

We've proved that mail-in voting is safe, secure, cost-effective, unhackable, and increases voter participation.

There is plenty of history and explanation online if you're interested.

    NOT VALID!

Check Alabama for example. Many states allow absentee ballots for the disabled, military out of country, and for other reasons one must be out of state or out of the country. If you just want to vote from home in those states, your request will be denied.

28 states allow ANYONE to request an absentee ballot, no questions asked.

the other 22 require a reason, but they dont check if its legit.

They are afraid that better and easier access to being able to vote will be their disadvantage
