Why are the Democrats opposed to the Bidens testifying?

Nobody was even talking about how corrupt the Bidens are, until the stupid whistleblower made sure the whole word knew it.

 

Two completely different things. Clinton had to appear in a federal court, before judge Webber-Wright, in the case Clinton v. Jones. This was the original #metoo case. So do not confuse things like you are doing.

 

They are afraid. Very afraid and rightly so.

 

I have no problem with having Biden testify, but NOT as a part of the impeachment trial. Allowing Biden to testify as a part of the impeachment trial would be another way of complying with Trump's normal practice of diverting atterntion away from the bad things he does. This is a practice he's kept his entire life. If, in spite of at least three inquiries into his actions in Ukraine, Biden is still suspect, then by all means, do an investigation. But Biden didn't cause Trump to break the law in Ukraine. Trump himself did. And that's all that's necessary for the Senate to act on impeachment.
