Why are you here?

This recently occurred to me. If you believe that anyone that believes in gun control just wants to ban all guns and is completely unreasonable and can never be reasoned with.....why are you here?

 

To prove that Gun Bans and Gun Control is self serving tripe that benefits Nobody.
The Criminals will still kill and commit Crimes and now, everyone is disarmed and easy targets.

 

Prove it to who? If the other side is unreasonable you by definition can not prove it to them. So who are you proving it to?

 

to show how dishonest the following claim is

Gun control is crime control

 

if you believe (I mean believe rather than dishonestly using this as a facade as many gun banners do) that the way to control criminals is to prevent honest people from getting guns, than obviously you believe banning will be more effective than mere restrictions

I did not need you for that, at the young age of Ten years old, I realized that Gun Control was not the Answer, both My Parents were Anti-Gun, and Pro-Gun Control sadly enough.

I always had and made up my own mind about everything.

 

Then answer the question. You said you were here to prove something. Prove it to who?

 

to think how dishonest the anti gun movement is. Its not about crime control-though the leaders of the BM say that to pander to the weak minded idiots like the people screaming for something to done after a premeditated killer shoots a bunch of unarmed victims in a school or a gay nightclub. Its all about political paybacks

 

You could ask that question about any topic, couldn't you? You could take it a step further and question why PF should even exist.

Look ... People like expressing their opinions, and the internet gives us that opportunity. Some of us actually like to consider the merits of another point of view too, believe it or not.

They probably don't understand the frog in the pot analogy. Frogs jump out if you turn the heat up too quickly. That's why they try not to but they do it slowly anyway.

It's a moot point though. It was 5-4 in Heller vs D.C. where the four didn't believe we should own firearms lol

Well, to be fair, most people are here to express themselves moreso than they expect to actually influence people. I mean, I've seen influence happen and it's happened to me, but generally people express their opinions and they don't change.

 

Some people just do not get it, the Gun control advocates claims are based on pure Hogwash, plain & simple.

Every day ordinary people refuse to be a victim and resist attack with a Gun, true statistics show a very high rate of success even with people of very little training.

Years ago, I met Nancy Bittle of A.W.A.R.E. and she was a Women's advocate training many people on how not to be a Victim.

Gun Control advocates hate being proven wrong, that is why people like Me are ignored by them and dismissed, I am walking proof that Gun Control is naught but a fool's Paradise.

I have training.
I am a certified Firearms Instructor.
I have defended myself successfully many times.
I always comply with all Gun Control Laws.

However, I know for a certainty that Gun Control is not the Answer.

That is what I would like to know as well.
Nothing petrifies me as long as I know I can defend myself.

I think it's your side that is petrified with your distrust of your fellow American citizens!

 

We come argue gun issues in a forum like this because we can be heard. The Msm isn't going to cover pro-gun rallies or any shooting competitions.

It's like chicken little, but they are believed by the uneducated masses, repeat a lie enough times and even you may start to believe it.

So we present evidence and truths to counter those in the MSM, and try to convert a few of the unthinking idiots.
