    If men wearing dresses are women, then women wearing dresses must be men. Wait what? :confused:

    I am so confused, I am not even sure if I really am... Does this mean I have been gay all along or does this mean no one is what they actually are, which would still mean I am gay but still not? :eek:

    He's one of the old school from the days when British comedy was clever and funny. Now it's mostly childish and vulgar - the right-on BBC calls it 'cutting edge'! :roll:

    Cutting edge comedy? more like cutting as in sarcasm if you ask me. I enjoyed Allo Allo, only saw it for the first time a year or so ago...someone gave us the the series as a gift, we have a lot of Brits in the area where I live... for some reason they like it here. :)

    Yes, I liked it for a while then I found it became a bit formulaic ('Good moaning' etc) - a bit like It Ain't 'Alf Hot Mum. Some great characters in that, but by the time I'd watched half a dozen times I couldn't stand the Sergeant Major's 'SHUT UP!!' any longer.

    I wouldn't like it there . . . too many spiders?? [​IMG]

    yes the spiders are creepy but our windows and doors are screened, the snakes are a bigger issue... when I lived in Brisbane I nearly stepped on a Brown snake twice, I'm in Victoria now and although they are here I've yet to even see one...
    at least Australian snakes will slither away as they feel the vibrations when you are walking closer... African Black Mamba will chase you... and it's faster than a human can run.

    Yeah, but they're smart too. I live eight floors up but they still get here somehow.

    As it happens I was watching a doco last night (Chris Packham does these wildlife docos) about snakes and a Black Mamba was featured moving at speed. I forget how fast CP said they can go but they don't hang around, that's for sure.

    The reason some think conservative women are pretty might be linked to the misogyny of the right wing which seems to pervade their public image to the degree that if you are a conservative woman and want to be on TV, you won't get anywhere unless you are eye candy and dress accordingly. On the left, we value intelligence more highly than looks which explains the differences quite succinctly.

    ALL men grade women on their looks, and so do some women. It is natural for men to be attracted to good looks. This is an instinct left over from the cave man days. Good looks are a sign of good health and a mate who is fertile.
