I believe that the theory by near death experiencer Rabbi Alon Anava that there is some sort of lesson for all of us on how we do not yet love each other sufficiently for the full fledged Era of Moshiach to come to this earth.

This makes sense to me and this fits with us beginning to think more highly of each other and appreciate each other much more than we have in the past.

Stop stepping on each other! The divine message from the disaster in Meron - Rabbi Alon Anava

I do believe that there are powerful spiritual beings who have a sadistic streak in them and their influence does play a role in disasters but.......

I believe that the most ancient Intelligences want the world to become like the following:

    https://near-death.com/howard-storm-nde/

Rabbi Alon Anava very insightfully concluded that most Israelis .. .and the majority of all of us .... are lacking in the kind of love for our families and for our neighbours that is predicted to be common in all the world by the year 2185.

He was distracted by his new ride that was delivered the previous day?

"Forty-five people died at Meron. Why are Haredi parties blocking a probe?" Note the terrorist groups called the Haredi party and Democrat party block probes into their dealings of terror?

I've read many of your posts and it's clear that you have a very deep faith that seems to be working for you. I was a believer for many decades but am a non-believer now.

I've had a few near-death experiences and some of them included things Storm mentions in the article. The problem that I have with these types of testimonials is the same problem I have with organized religion in that they all claim to "be the true" path.

    For instance, from the article...
This doesn't impart any useful information to the reader.

Which bible is he talking about?

Why would a loving God/god master a book of rules with no foresight that millions, if not billions, of people would be fighting over its translation and meaning for the duration of mankind? That's like giving your 5 year old a book on how to build a rocket and then beating the hell out of him when he can't figure it out. (Think of "the apple". And, here we are, thousands of years later and women still get blamed for everything ;-).

Storm's last three sentences from the above excerpt...

"They also told me, and I later found out this was true, that when you read it prayerfully, it talks to you. It reveals itself to you. And you don’t have to work at it anymore."

So, instead of just writing a book of rules that people can understand, these "heavenly beings" (or whatever he called them) basically said it was his fault for not understanding it because he didn't read it right all those times before. Isn't that the same as knocking your 5 year old over the head as if he should KNOW that and how to use it figure out the rocket manual? (Isn't that the same as banishing Adam and Eve from the garden because she made a mistake (which kids do all the time)?

And, if you look into the history of the "book of rules" in others areas/regions, you will find the same issue. Those people also believe their religion is the "one and true" religion and to cement the deal, they (whatever you believers believe in) fight about it...constantly.

How's that "good book" (whatever religion/denomination) working out for the world?

    As for Anava's prediction...
It serves no purpose other than to blame/shame people and coddle believers into thinking it will HAVE to get better in about 164 years.

See the inherent problem? We aren't going to be here in 164 years so he could fill in that (blank) with just about anything.

Beyond that, if you do even a perfunctory search, you will find that various people have been making "predictions" about the end of the world and amazing futures filled with love and light and chocolate ice cream. Like all the rest of them, they don't KNOW that.

    They believe it.
They want it to be true.
They long for it be true.

    But, they don't KNOW that.

Sure, I understand the psychological benefits of...

wanting to belong to something (connectedness between people),
wanting to hope that *something* better is yet to come,
wanting to trust that life serves some high purpose for us,

BUT...that connectedness, something better, higher purpose isn't some far away ambiguous and highly unlikely utopia that's going to arrive after all of us are long since buried.

    It's NOW.

Right now, today, in this moment, we all have the choice to do something better. We each have the power to change the tide in that direction. In fact, we each have a responsibility to do it. Anything less than that just contributes to the pain, sorrow and hopelessness permeating the globe. Therefore, it's improbable, but not impossible, that humans will work together to build a world like the one Anava describes.

The architecture of that possibility relies on us.

Over the past year and a half I took twenty five online courses from near death experiencer Dr. Kevin Zadai but I also listened to hundreds of hours of lectures by Orthodox Jewish near death experiencer Rabbi Alon Anava.

I am convinced that there is zero real contradiction between the over all goals of Rabbi Anava with Dr. Zadai.... but I also know that ninety nine point nine percent of Christians and Jews would tend to disagree with me rather vehemently.............

......... but I would love to argue this thesis with either Dr. Zadai or Rabbi Anava...... both of whom sure seem to have had the massive IQ boost that so many near death experiencers are given.

Dr. Zadai went from an IQ of 106 to 159...........

We humans see contradiction where HaShem / The G-d of Abraham sees eleven or more invisible dimensions where a variation of the Restoration of All Things is applied in every moment of every day.......

I've taken those store bought IQ tests as well and have scored 159. Big deal. Argue whose thesis?

    Wow!!!!!

I scored a paltry 118 or so back in 1980 when I took the S.A.T. to apply for Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas and / or Pasadena, California.

There is a saying that when somebody with an IQ thirty points higher than somebody else attempts to explain a complicated idea to somebody with an IQ thirty points lower than them.... .... it can be a bit like a human talking to a cow..... .so my humble apologies for not comprehending much of your teachings?!

My comment on those tests were to suggest that just because someone takes an IQ test doesn't mean they are accurate. I scored high on that particular one because it is heavily related to high school geometry and I was teaching geometry.
As for you not being able to understand God's words to his prophets in terms the prophets can understand to relay them to the rest of us, feast upon the words of our prophets starting with Joseph Smith and stop believing false prophets. :)

It is now three ten am here in Nova Scotia and I just woke up with a theory directly related to the writings and the ministry of Prophet Joseph Smith........... (who........ assuming the validity of the Gilgul Cycle of Judaism has some obvious connections with King David........ and frankly...... even with somebody recognized by Muslims).......

Why does G-d allow death? Or evil? Or Nancy Pelosi?
    These are deep questions.

However, they are also unanswerable as such.

It is the general opinion of mankind that pain, suffering, and death are the worst things that can happen to a person.
It is the conviction of Torah observant (Orthodox) Jews that the worst thing that can happen to a person is to live a meaningless life, full of random passions and self aggrandizing achievements.

Our souls are G-d's gift to This World. If we strive and lift up ourselves and others to be closer to what is Good and godly, we will make a difference in This World and the World to Come.

We are all made in G-d's Image.
    What is His Image.
The ability to do Whatever He Wants to Do.
We are made of Freedom - Free Will - the Freedom to learn and grow from what G-d gives us or the freedom to reject G-d and only live in the world of our sensual pleasures.

Remember this - anyone who wants to take away your Freedom to Choose denies G-d, whether it be the Islamists of Afghanistan or the Faucis of Covid.

Why did G-d allow His holy Jews to die at Meron?
    I don't know.
I do know that I have been inspired by one at the bottom of the pile who said with his dying breath - "Whoever is on top of me, I forgive you."
I do know that I have been inspired by countless parents and relatives who have given comfort to others by understanding that G-d took their loved one to a life of reward because - we never know what the future may bring.

My good friend's grandson, Shmuel Silverberg, was recently murdered in Denver by a random group of young scum.
I know his father; his family, cousins and relatives.
Shmuel will forever be an inspiration and memory for Good long after his relatives may have been forgotten. Certainly long after I am forgotten.
Life is Beautiful All the Time.

god allows these terrible things to provide contrast. Without contrast our experience in life is meaningless. We cannot know love without knowing hate. We cannot know peace without knowing war. We cannot know safety without experiencing danger. Even those who inflict these terrible things on humanity are servants of god, here with a purpose. In this lifetime they are the inflicters of suffering. This is by design. They will learn between incarnations of the suffering they caused, and in the next incarnation may be the ones suffering at the hands of others.

everything and everyone is a part of god, though veiled from that truth. Each incarnation brings us closer to fully rejoining back with god, and then the whole process begins again.

You answered your own question. Free moral agency and free will. If God didn't allow bad things to happen to anyone, there would be no freedom of thought and action. We are here to live by faith to choose good or evil. If one doesn't exist, how would we know the other? Thus, God leaves us pretty much alone and only interferes with mankind when needed to keep His plan on the right path.

My Jewish name is Shmuel Uri. God is light. The Light of Christ can guide us to choose good over evil. Some have lost that light.

    Extremely well written Sir!

I think that you will like the answers to one important aspect of all of this that a Gentile near death experiencer named Christian Andreason wrote. It would seem that by allowing our souls to experience lives all over the Gilgul Cycle our souls and even our human spirit are brought toward a deeper level of humility........
and the lack of humility seems to be what caused former Covering Cherub Halel to fall.

    http://www.allaboutchristian.com/spirituality/
Another near death experiencer was shown what was happening in the invisible dimensions at the time of The Holocaust on the Jewish people.

Basically.... that sixteen million Latter day Saints have reached a Critical Mass predicted in Genesis 11 verse six and IF THE STUDENT BODY AND FACULTY AT the Jerusalem Campus of Brigham Young University in Israel will pray.......and ask to be guided by the Holy Spirit to come up with a win - win - win - win - win - win treaty with nine point three million Israelis you will be able to assist the nation of Israel to enter a whole new era where they reach out to Gentiles assisted by Latter day Saints.

LDS teachings on the State of the Dead uniquely prepare you for that role.....
because Latter day Saints do not view Orthodox or Chassidic Jews as "LOST" who have not yet accepted Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus as Messiah the Passover Lamb..... or perhaps as Moshiach ben Yosef as some others assert.

You Latter day Saints may be able to make use of the testimony of three time near death experiencer Dr. P. M. H. Atwater who reports viewing very similar events in the higher invisible dimensions after the September 11,2001 terrorist attack as near death experiencer Howard Storm was shown happening during The Holocaust of WWII as I quoted in post number twenty just above here.

    ......
I would highly, highly recommend reading all of her amazing writing on what she saw.

Its interesting how so many of us think God is responsible for death, tragedy, . One could argue that earth was placed in mans care. It is up to us to take care of it and each other. Life to us is precious - nothing more is precious. I dont think the creator looks at life like we do. IMO he doesnt play the hopeful role that we would like to think he does. For many that is difficult to endure

Why did god allow 4,000,000 Jews (etc.) be murdered by Germany?

Isn't the real question one of what have we learned?

The Jewish people went through that, and IMMEDIATELY upon coming through that they began their assault on the people living in the region now called Israel and Palestine.

They slaughter those in the open air prison of Gaza, where Palestinians suffer the decades of unrelenting uncompromising war waged by Israel upon them.

Is THAT what they learned in Germany??

Does the "Stop Stepping on Each Other" message NOT apply to the humanitarian atrocity that is the ethnic cleansing of West Bank?
