Why did God say: Let us give Satan to mankind?

God created Eden as his heaven on Earth so that he could, some day come down and rule over us.

He cast Satan out of heaven. I guess because she was creating a huge division there, and decided to send her to Earth, to also create division here, which she did.

Why would a good God curse the Earth by sending Satan, the personification of evil, to Earth?

    Regards
    DL

The Lord God of Israel never said that in scripture, so your statement is false

God did create Eden but nothing in scripture says that it was Heaven on Earth or God's heaven on Earth so that is false.

the Voice of the Lord was already walking in the garden and the Lord God is the Most High therefore always was, always is and always will be over everything else. so again another false statement
no "she" isn't mentioned in scripture in ref to Satan. Jesus says Satan is the father of lies, so it would seem that is a reference to male or a "he" so again a false statement.

Satan and his friends were cast out, as Jesus said like a bolt of lightening, but it was mankind who caused himself and the earth to be cured by trusting a liar, rather than the Commandment of the Lord God.

Adam and Eve agreed to the liar to be their own gods by living in accordance to their own judgement of what is good. but the result is death, death of the life they had before they consummated their agreement with Satan by eat the fruit of the tree. So, the Lord God let A&E live the life of the flesh which the animals already had, a life of dust to dust and ashes to ashes, with there new found friend in Satan they invited into their world via following the liar's words. or in this case the one who puts forth false statements.

that life "lost" has been restored to those who believe/ trust put their faith in Jesus Christ the Son of God.

The Jewish Satan was quite different from the Christian Satan.

Wait who said Satan was evil save God whose biased. Exactly what did he do that was so bad in the Bible? God supported slavery, genocide, ecocide, sexual abuse of women in war and killed the innocent such as children and slaves in Sodom and Gomorrah. Satan tempted Eve, tormented Job but only after God told him he could and tempted Jesus a test but he never orchestrated horrors on mankind. Its possible he rebelled to stop God from harming his creation and humanity and it was a good action and he just failed. If one takes another view of the Satan myth figure.

God must have had a good reason for creating Satan. Only God can say what He was thinking at the time.

Because the earth is a Testing Ground and God needed Satan as a bullying Drill Sergeant to try to bust us-
"All creation groans in pain from the beginning til now" (Romans 8:22)
"Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life.." (James 1:12)

I do not know if there is a place where God actually says this but ... it is implied in the story of Job to some degree.

Satan however is not the personification of Evil in the story. Satan is depicted as one of God's son's who act's in accordance with the will of God.

Satan is sent by God to test Job, and by analogy perhaps we are to infer that God has sent Satan to test humanity but, Satan does not act outside the bounds that God sets.

Further - there is no animosity between God and Satan. Job depicts the relationship between God and Satan as that between Father and son.

This makes complete sense in relation to the Israelite belief in a Pantheon of Gods (sometimes depicted as a divine council). The ancient Israelite's only worshiped one God (or at least they were only supposed to after Moses) but, they believed in the existence of many.

Interestingly, the chief/supreme God of the Israelite pantheon was El (head of the Sumerian Pantheon) https://www.britannica.com/biography/Abraham

The link is somewhat long (not too bad) but if you want to save time just skip to the last 5 paragraphs.

The ancient Jews had a very different concept of Satan.. Christians reinvented Satan to suit their theology.

Indeed. That is why the Jews interpreted Eden to be where man was elevated and not where he fell.

Christianity reversed that so as to be able to denigrate and discriminate against women and gays.

So much for Christians and equality.

Yes. In those days they tried to put one in all the major royal abodes. That is why in some they show Adam as more of a king than God's dumb and blind puppet.

Why do Gentiles believe in the ethnocentric Middle Eastern Jewish religious fairy tale in the first place? It makes as much sense as an Eskimo believing in the ethnocentric Middle Eastern Arabian religious fairy tale of the Koran.

Please be more accurate. A certain human author claimed (in writing) that someone else (a particular god) said something.

That is hearsay. Shouldn't the inquiry be better and more appropriately focused first and primarily on who wrote that and what actual evidence exists that the declarant "god" said what was reported to be said?
