Every body know that Malaya is not China only those who lack in dept historical knowledge will think that Malaya is part of China because of the large ethnic Chinese population about 50%.

Indonesians, Malays , Thai etc. during the early year sof the war many were sympathizers and supporters of Japan they look at them as liberators from colonial Europe. Japan policy of racial equality appeal to them it would be later on when sentiments started to change when Japan started to abuse their authority by implementing force labor etc. early resistance against Japanese rule were carry out mainly by ethnic Chinese. Except in the Philippines were majority of Filipinos remain loyal to the USA and resisted the Japanese invasion in fact it was in the Philippines that Japan's war time table got delay because of stiff resistance from Fil-US troops.

Oh and for those comfort women only those who lack historical knowledge would not know that they were force sex slaves for the Japanese military men and soldiers.

Not just before 1905: the last British-built capital ship sunk in combat was the Japanese battle cruiser Kongo! (She & her sister ships were Tiger-class battle cruisers.) Mikasa is essentially a Majestic-class battleship.

Also note: the first ship ever built from the keel up as a carrier was the Japanese Hosho.

Actually come to think of it Britain was involved even further back with the Boshin war in the 1860's and the delivery of Sinder Enfields.

Thanks for the info. I was not aware of the classes of ship that we built for Japan.
    Much appreciated.

Makes a certain amount of sense. It's better to withdraw and consolidate your forces rather stretch a small force over an enormous area.
Thus breaking the enemy where you chose to fight them leaving the captured territory ready for liberation.

But that's providing that Japan was going to invade which was infeasible at the time.

If you take offence at the presence of the US military then I suggest that you vote for a party which shares your view or help to form a new one.

To be frank with you I don't think I can respond to the rest of your post without sidetracking this topic.

    Sorry for the late reply
