    Actually, they'd probably claim the eucalyptus trees are theirs to graze by divine right....and would be a special guest and martyr on the next Sean Hannity show.....

    until they started to "tell you what they know about the Platypus".

    They're also going extinct.

    80% of them have chlamydia.....Koala scientists say the population could be wiped out in 30 years.

    Yeah there have been two disease free colonies set up on Kangaroo Island and an island of the Queensland coast. And there are good stocks in zoos. So if the do go extinct in the wild should be enough stock to reseed without too much of a genetic bottle neck (fingers crossed)
