Why do skin heads grow beards?

Just asking. The face is a part of the head is it not?



Actually, I don't know any skinheads, so I could be mistaken and duped by Hollywood tripe.

 

Every skinhead I've ever met has been clean-shaven. What I've never understood is why they don't completely Bic their heads. Technically, if you just use clippers, doesn't that make you a fuzzhead?

 

Decades of overwashing hair leads to premature baldness. Or a receeding hairline at 20- I know people like that. Growing facial hair proves you can still grow hair; it proves you're not hairless. Ask Samson.

 

I have it from a reputable source that skinhead sex partners wanted their lovers to grow long beards or chin whiskers if you will to give their love making that extra tingling/tickling sensation close to that G-spot.

 

Why am I not bald then..having washed my hair every single day since I was about 14 and in fact long periods of washing it a couple of times per day, after playing sport and then having to go out on the razzle...

Apart from being totally disgusting and inappropriate on a mixed gender forum, that comment is inaccurate as no doubt otherwise more men would have facial hair.

Would it be asking too much for a liberal to lighten up just a wee bit? I noticed that your skinhead avatar doesn't have any facial hair. Perhaps you've never danced on the wild side. Dude- we all wash our hair all the time throughout our lives. But the overwashers, who wash their hair 2-3 times a day with chemicals then dry it and style it with more chemicals leads to baldness... do I really have to connect the dots for you?

 

Dude, I colour and highlight my hair, wash my hair exactly that way and have done so 2-3 times a day for years, then blow dry it upside down with extreme heat (no less than 2000 watt dryer) and style it with more chemicals, then laminate it with several chemicals and then straighten it with GHD hair straighteners. Why am I not bald?

Men are bald because men get bald. It happened before they washed with chemicals. Unless you have evidence of what you assert...

Skinhead men presumably adopt that look to deliberately intimidate and identify with a group known for deliberately intimidating. They also don't look clean IMHO. Yuck.

This is a mixed gender forum, not a men's room and common decency to respect that. If you apparently don't, I don't have to respect you (or hater) for lacking common decency. It may not bother you, but if you have a wife, why don't you ask her if she doesn't have a problem with comments like that and the one deleted from the other thread? Or maybe you can show them to your daughter and ask her.

That is your experience, you say. My experience is different from yours. Skinheads here are associated (not just by me) with the BNP.

You have a different definition of common decency than I do. I think common decency is withholding the need to ruin everyone else's fun by making a big deal out of silly and trivial things. You're entitled to whatever you feel, but I think being a Debbie Downer in an atmosphere that everyone else is enjoying is incredibly selfish.

The women I have as friends and the women I date are all comfortable with their sexuality and have no problem with light-hearted comments like what Libhater posted. In fact, most of them would join in with their own comments in such a conversation.

I would also never raise a child to be so sensitive as to be offended by things like this. It's bad for their mental and emotional health. Life is meant to be enjoyed.

It's not just my experience. I just linked you to a page about an entire movement within the skinhead community that was specifically started to combat racism. Did you even read it?

why do you wish to label people? Skinhead is just another label to try to easily identify a group, unfortunately most men who are bald have no connection with the hate group skinheads!

One could easily mistake me for someone more nefarious, not because I wish to be bald, but rather its nature I guess. Trust me, I have had several people have to take a double take when I introduce myself and they find out who I am.

Perhaps it's the quality of the product you use on the hair. Men tend to use anything that's lying about, where women are a bit more discriminating.
