Why are the atheists here trying to claim agnostics are atheists? Why are the atheists here claiming the rational highground yet fail to produce anything that is arguably rational, when they try to claim agnostics. After listening to atheists use pejoratives against theists that label God as sky pilot, spaghetti monster, and compare their God to unicorns, I'd say thats pretty bigoted.
I have seen no one, except you, claim that agnostics are anything but what they claim. In my opinion, they lack the conviction to declare one way or the other. Then along comes you, making declarations of what they believe just because you say so. That is actually what is bigoted, as personified by your statements.
Good post, although I disagree with 6,7, and 8. The discussion revolves around christians, because they represent the vast majority of community members. Hence the perception of only challenging of personal christian beliefs. As for number 7 , you just as easily could make the same argument by saying "state mandated indoctrination of a particular belief system, as is done with conservative ideology today". Its a matter of perspective.
